I had downloaded some movies to my IPad and needed a way to share the audio. We plugged in and it works! Not sure what else to say about it except if you use it you both get audio.

ended up not using it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since the other audio cable I ordered cut my sound so drastically, I used a bluetooth connection instead, and ended up not needing the splitter at all. I will qualify my "not recommend" as I would not recommend for what I was trying to use it for. It may work fine in other applications.
