But it does what it'd supposed to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend NOT FOR HEADSETS

He directed me to this product but its the wrong product... This product is only for splicing an audio connection, and does not work with xbox/ps4 controllers for use with headsets. One end needs to receive a microphone, the other for audio, and the male end should have 3 black lines, not 2. If you try to use this for a headset with a microphone, only the audio will work, not microphone.
