Does exactly what you would want it to do charges fast

Wanted to be able to charge two controls without having cords everywhere.

I was a little skeptical that my Astro A50 gaming headset that I use on my xBox 360 would work with this. However, it worked straight out of the box without any system changes, reconfigurations, etc. My A50's are plugged into the Optical audio out on the xBox 1. I plugged this into the back of my xBox 1 controller and the other end into my A50's and that was all that was required.

I like the fact that I can recharge my kids controller at the same time.

For the price this is a good buy for sure! Just know that you have to use the batteries and covers that are included. If you already have the rechargeable batteries from Microsoft they will not work. The only real problem with this, is the included batteries don't last anywhere near as long as the Microsoft batteries! I guess if you don't have them it could work for you.

This stand works well with my Xbox One Controllers and matches the PS4 charging stand by Insignia that it sits next too. But there are problems with the newer Xbox One Controllers. These were created for the first generation Xbox One controllers with the 2.5mm jack in them. When I picked up the Elite Controller, the battery cover that allows you to use the recharagable battery pack doesn't fit the Elite Controller. You can break off the plastic inserts for one of the battery packs so it can fit the elite controller (and file it down with the nail file to make it flush) like I did, but then it will no longer fit in standard controllers. If you have first gen controllers and only first gen controllers, this is a great buy. If you have the latest ones, you should look into other ones.

The top charger at least on mine seems to have a rough fit causing the unit to sometimes not charge. Never have the issue with the bottom unit, and I've gotten used to the top that I make sure it "locks" into the top unit. This charger came part of a bundle Best Buy offered so the price was right and the rough fit seems to be such a minor issue that I can't complain.
