Unfortunately the nose piece is uncomfortable and would leave a red mark on my nose after only 45 minutes of playing. The padding is more comfortable then the silicone that comes with Quest 2 but with the nose piece being so uncomfortable I wouldn’t recommend this one.

It is VERY cheaply made, the face padding is so small that it will not work as advertised. When the nose piece comes off, have some glue ready so you can actually make it stay on. What a joke.

Velcro unglued and not very comfy.

The glue that held the velcro down was already coming off. The edges of the padding is sharp'ish/uncomfortable. The padding itself isn't very comfortable.

An ok option but has some drawbacks

It looked like a good alternative to the more expensive Meta offering. What initially drew me to this was the soft foam padding that comes with it. I was able to open the box in the store and have a look and it looked super comfortable. While it is comfortable (more so then the one that comes stock with the headset), it does have 3 drawbacks that might make others reconsider this purchase. For starters, and this is will be a BIG one for those who wear glasses, is usage with the spacer that Meta includes with the unit. It will NOT work with the spacer, or t least mine did not. The included nose piece seems to get in the way, and while it can be removed, this will also let in a lot of light at the bottom by your nose. This seems like a pretty big oversight when they were designing it. Next is field of view. Holding up this product along side the stock one, it seems that the viewing area is somewhat smaller. For those who want to have a big open viewing space, this is not for you. If it will affect anything, of that I am not sure yet. Lastly is minor light bleed. The padding is held onto the plastic frame by means of velcro. While this allows the changing of the padding (it comes with 2) when needed, it also does not form a tight seal so a small amount of dim light sometimes bleeds through around the facial area. The nose seal, while I like the idea they were going with, also is not a tight seal, so expect some minor light bleed there also. Overall, at 29.99 it is an ok replacement for the stiff one the Quest comes with. The padding is a lot more comfortable AND, as an added bonus, there are small vents on top for air circulation. I will be giving this a test tonight with a few games to see if it really helps keep my face cooler, but still it seems like a good idea. As far as recommending the product, well that is a yes and no.
