||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product so I could output sound from my TV through the Fiber Optical output, as well as HDMI, achieving essentially dual-zone, one through my internal speakers, and the other through my outside speakers on the patio. What can I say? The product does exactly what it says it does! It's able to convert a digital signal to analog. The sound is crystal clear with no distortion!

Easy box to take the only output on a Samsung TV (how it can only have an optical output and nothing else is baffling) and turn it into analog for Bose desktop speakers is wonderful.

Decided to use my old stereo receiver and speakers instead but needed a way to connect my newer tv to my old receiver. This device solved that problem and the whole neighborhood can hear our movies now.

Anyway, this converter works fine and do its job.

Was able to connect it to my PS4 and I do most of my stuff on there (Blu-ray/Netflix/games) and it sounds awesome. Required a Digital Optical Audio Cable to go with it to complete conversion as the Bose system is not HDMI compatible.

Just follow the instructions for the converter connections and set the audio output on the TV to the optical setting and the sound come out perfect.

Sound quality is not affected by the conversion. I will note that you cannot use the TV remote to change the volume on the speakers sadly.

Did have me confused on the 2nd day when it didn't work anymore. Turns out it needs to be reset in order to pick up the signal after the TV has been powered down. Solved this by plugging it into a switched outlet so that I could turn it off and on.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to convert the digital out from my new tv to optical wireless headphones works great the only problem I have is I have to switch the cables from my sound bar to the adapter every time I use them and I have to unplug and reconnect the power when I do that so they will work other than that great product
