The side grips really help as far as feeling like you aren't going to accidentally throw your controllers somewhere. You do have to remove them to replace the battery but considering the lifespan of said batteries here, you aren't going to do that very often.

My son wacked his hands quite a few times and that thing is still ticken lol. Not many electronics are durable at all. So it's good to see these remotes held up! Well, so far so good lol

Thankfully I’ve (unwillingly) tested the protection of these grips (by punching my fridge and wall) and nothings happened to them. They’re great for kids and for grown adults like myself haha
