This is very necessary to set up the television or to change from the original settings. You need it and need to keep it even if you don’t use it for every day use.

The original remote stopped working... then got one from a small store... failed! I went to Best Buy to get this one... success! Easy to setup, easier to use.

This was is a great replacement remote. The kids don’t lose this one as easy as the original slim remote that came with my Samsung TV.

As this was a replacement for a Samsung TV there was no programming to do. It works perfectly. The only thing I dont like is that every time I press a button the ON button light goes on.
