This worked immediatlely with my Samsung UN65KS8000FXZA UHD TV. I think is a 2015 or 2016 model. It also worked with my 49" MU8000 which I think is a 2017 model. Both sets had the little Samsung remote that has few buttons and requires virtual menus to navigate. The one for the 65" KS8000 developed problems where some buttons no longer worked. I was not sure what technology the stock remotes use (Bluetooth? IR?) So I wasn't sure it the Insignia remote would work with these sets. It does. I installed the batteries, pointed at the TV, and it worked immediately. It is so much better than the stock remotes.

Easy online purchase. In store pickup within the 1 hour timeframe. Purchased yesterday. Unpacked it, installed batteries and WOW it worked. Power, channel changer, volume controls, and channel list all work. I was pleasantly surprised. DO NOT HESITATE. BUY IT NOW.

The remote that originally came with the Samsung DVD player was ruined because the batteries leaked out. This one works perfectly well with both the dvd player as well as the TV (both are Samsung) it is just as advertised! Haven't had any problems with it.

This is the remote that Samsung should have supplied in the first place. Newer Samsung remotes are more and more minimalist and mostly depend on onscreen menus -- it takes twice as long to get anything done. One oddity -- I tried out the cc button and related settings and somehow the sound was killed. The TV wasn't muted, the sound just 'died'. I had to reset all the settings on the TV to get the sound back. But otherwise this is an excellent remote and an ideal replacement for the bare-bones original.

Not much to say other than this is a great little basic style remote controller that works very well with Samsung TV's. Does what it says it does and does it well.

My wife dropped our remote into a cup of coffee and it stopped working. They just don't make them like they used to. So we went out and purchased this replacement and it worked perfectly right out of the package (well, at least after we put batteries in it). Some the buttons are not exactly in the same location as the original, but it's pretty close!

The remote for our Samsung QLED TV is the tiniest remote that would get lost everyday. Yesterday it finally vanished for good and was most likely swallowed by the couch. After searching everywhere, I got this remote and it worked right away. No need for any set up. Batteries not included.

The problem with this remote is that the navigation buttons are all the same size... So when holding it, I have to actually look at it to change channels. 500% worse than the original Samsung remote that was replaced... It also does not fit my hand (man hands).. the locations of channel butons are very poorly placed. The really should have designed the "enter" button as larger, or a different shape than ALL of the other buttons... The only difference between the select button and the others right next to them is a very slight and hard to feel texture.. The bottons are also very small. I do not have a huge hand, pretty average size... I will replace this asap after a couple of months of aggrivation.. NOT worth the money that's for sure..
