    My Samsung remote ended up not working. I have Total Tech, but I love my TV so much I don't want to send both in just for a silly remote. So I bought this. It seems even more durable and doesn't get lost as easily. I will say the response for button pushing to command isn't on par with the stock remote. That's the reason for the 4 stars, but it does work in every aspect well enough for such a positive review.

    This remote works better than the one that came with my Samsung years ago. If this remote didn't work well, I was going to consider buying a new tv although the picture was still great, but it was too difficult to turn the tv on and change the channels using the buttons the side panel. The buttons on the remote are easy to maneuver and it was not complicated to get it set up and start using it immediately.

    I dropped my original Samsung TV remote in water...totally ruined. I found that Best Buy had a remote advertised as "Replacement Remote for Samsung TV's". I was very skeptical that it would work...that is just how I am. I got it home and popped in the batteries and she worked like a charm the first time. I didn't have to mess with finding a code that would work for my TV. It came with literature to get you set up if needed. I was very pleased that it worked!

    This was a nice replacement remote for my Samsung television. We had lost our remote and could not find it. This remote worked directly out of the box without any programming. It was very simple and easy to use. It did come with instructions on how to program some of the buttons to make it more customizable to what you like to do with your television.
