The “A, B, &C” buttons are programmable so I was able to program button A to go through the steps necessary to change back to cable TV after he is finished watching netflix/Amazon the things his remote does have buttons for. All he has to remember is to press the A. It works perfectly and helped him out! Very happy with this purchase!

Didn't work with Samsung TV on Dish

When I tried to activate it, I learned that only a Dish remote will work. I returned this one for a refund. Remote box should say it may not work with certain cable services. Seemed to be a good device for the price, but it wouldn't work in my case.
