    These were fine. I had to get them to connect to Spectrum. But then, I took Spectrum out and changed back to Direct TV. These modems did not work for Direct, so I returned them as well.

    I somehow lost the remote for the TV and this was a great solution vs attempting to reach out to Samsung for a new one. I didn't need to "program" it and for a non-tecky that was a godsend. I just pointed at my tv and was able to get to Netflix and Prime.

    The remote works great as a replacement. It fits in hand better and has all the control buttons I have to buy one for my TLC flatscreen which the power button went out on and does not fit in hand to small easy to lose.

    My daughter forgot her remote for the tv when she went to college. We went to get this one and it works great. This was two years ago and it is still in pristine condition.

    Seems to be working fine. I did need the Geek Squad to program my TV with the remote, but that was because I don’t understand how to do that. I kinda wish it would light up in the dark.

    Worked first day. Worked less over time. Called Insignia customer service number which is found on back of paper set-up guide who informed me (after discussing what issues I was having with the remote ie. cannot turn on tv without also turning on a/v receiver ) that 1) no code to reset to factory service is available and that 2) it is not compatible with Samsung smart tv’s. Returned the remote the next day under BestBuy TotalTech warranty.

    error messages when trying to use some of the buttons. Can not adjust the volume using remote. Have to use an old one from another tv.
