    I haven't really had a chance to use this much, since the tech explained the solar remote that came with the tv so thoroughly, and we have the Direct TV remote. When I tried it, worked great though.

    I was able to figure out how to turn on TV, change channels and control sound. Other than that the instructions were hard to follow. Geek Squad made two appointments. Never contacted me about either one. When I tried to contact them I got someone for whom English was a second (or third) language.

    I couldn't get this remote to function reliably for a samsung QLED tv. It was slow to respond and difficult to set up. I tried calling support but no luck. I ended up buying a "one for all" remote and it is 100 times better then this one. No issues at all and easy to set up.

    I purchased this remote as a replacement for a series 7 Samsung TV. It is almost the same as the original actually with a few more features to control a sound bar.
