    Sorry. This replacement remote barely works with 20% of the features. It's obviously not compatible with older model Samsung TVs.

    Is a really good remote. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 star review is because I was told it would do a specific task I wanted. When I got it home it connected all on its own and worked great for what it does. But it would not do the one thing I bought it for.

    The Insignia replacement remote for Samsung has been a challenge. When I first opened the box, I searched for directions as to what the buttons on the key pad functions were. None were found. I searched on line to include and YouTube with no success. After experimenting I found my way. Usage of the remote is in my opinion clunky. I have to press inordinately hard and my finger square on the key to activate my viewing choices. If the remote is not held directly at and with a clear angle to the TV, I am off to programing that was unwanted. Not a pleaser.
