Because coax travels farther you can send the signal long distance. Works great.

But, my idea was that if I hook up a SECOND DVD player, I can still go to something else if I am bored with one. So, I needed an adapter. The guy that helped me said they didn't exist. He looked in the section in which one would expect this device to be and said there wasn't any device. Then he left the aisle. I took a look and found this adapter, exactly where he was looking. I'd call it an oversight on his part, but he had made it clear by his attitude that he had better things to do.

Added the RF Modulator and hooked up the COAX output to a TV in another room.
