Band too big, would not go down to my wrist size. Returned

Watch band was the wrong size. Took it back to Best Buy Rancho Cucamonga CA and I had a horrible experience.

This really does look great! I like to clean these types of watch bands often because the metal mesh does tend to hold in dirt. However, I do wear it literally EVERYWHERE. In the pool, to work, I really only take it off to charge my watch. That means it gets a little dirtier than most, but it also means that it goes with every single thing in my closet for almost any possible event. I really like how this one doesn’t cause sweating under the band. No smelly watch wrist here! It is so easy to put on and take off . I recently had a band that stretched over your hand but it was so hard to get on and off. Then to have to try and tighten it with your other hand was almost impossible . So it was important to find a band that was easy to put on and take off. The band is very nice looking and feels very durable. The magnet is nice and strong but easy enough to pull off and adjust the band to your liking. It has snagged 3 times. It did not ruin anything that it has snagged on, it just makes a little fuzz on the watch. I have been wearing it for about a month, so for me that’s really not an issue at all. It still looks brand new after a month of continuous wear. I never worry about going easy on it because my lifestyle doesn’t really let me baby any watch band. I’ve had several friends and coworkers who have purchased this one because it looks so good after all that abuse. I don’t think anyone would regret buying this. I really like this band and am super happy I purchased it. I have no complaints.

It’s a perfect size for a female. Too small for a man wrist.

The black stainless steel Mesh band by Insignia for Apple Watch arrived in a nicely designed retail package. This watch band fits Apple Watches of 38, 0 and 41mm sizes. I opened it upon arrival to try out and evaluate for best buy. The first thin I had to do was disassemble my prior watch band and boy, was I surprised at all the gunk that had accumulated over the past couple of years. So a good cleaning was in order before trying to install the Insignia band. Once cleaned my Apple watch looked like brand new and the new Insignia watch band was ready to be installed with the new stainless steel mesh band. I simply slid the "D-ring" and the opposite side slide into the watch grooves until I heard and felt them click in place. Then I put it on my wrist and looped the long end of the watch band through the opposite D-ring, pulled it somewhat tight around my wrist and affixed the magnetic clasp to the back of the band to hold the band in place. I found the watch band to be somewhat tight on my wrist and found it was very easy to adjust the Insignia band to a more comfortable fit. Overall, the Insignia Stainless steel Mesh watchband in black looks great, is very well mad and should last for many years. It has a clean, sleek sophisticated look that goes well with both casual and dress clothes so is good for any occassion. If you are in the market for a new watch band for your apple watch, I recommend the Insignia product highly!

The Insignia™ - Stainless Steel Mesh Band for Apple Watch 38mm, 40mm, 41mm and SE is a good product at a great price. I’ve been using leather, belt-buckle-style, bands ever since I started wearing Apple Watches. It’s just been my go-to style. I wasn’t looking for anything else until this crossed my path. Installation is simple and easy. It’s clearly designed for the Apple Watch. My hands are not that big, but, at first, I was disappointed that putting it on requires the magnetic clasp end of the band to come completely off it’s end of the watch. Not being used to this and how it works was frustrating for the first couple days. However, once I got the hang of it, it’s easy and no problem. Being the first watch band of this style I’ve used, I was surprised at how comfortable it is. For some reason I expected it to feel stiff and awckward. But no, it’s very comfortable. The endless flexibility in how tight or loose you wear it is great for different activities and producing slight variations in how it ‘feels’. On top of all this is the simple fact that it looks nice. For my wife, it’s a huge improvement over my previous leather bands. I can’t argue with that. All-in-all, a good-looking, comfortable watch band for a great price.

I have purchased quite a few Apple watches over the years and with that said I have went through my share of watch bands. I am kind of a connoisseur of watch bands. I have had metal, plastic, rubber, etc. I have become a fan of the metal bands and have had a similar band that closely compares to the stainless steel mesh band. Changing the band to install this band is usually very easy to do with the Apple watch. It was snug but nothing like you had to apply some pressure as some of the bands I have had to do over the years. These types of watch bands can match the exact size you need which is one of the reasons why I like these types of bands. The ones with pre-punched holes are nice but if it is cold or hot outside sometimes your wrist will change with the weather where if you have pre-punched holes sometimes you have to adjust and it either can be to loose or to tight. With this type you can adjust to the exact size you would like your watch band to fit. This band looks sharp when wearing and it is very economical. I would highly recommend this brand especially if you are a watch band fan.

It looks great with a rose gold watch. It is perfect for a slimmer wrist. The double latch makes it extremely easy to take off which is a problem bot my wife and I share with wearing metal bands. The silver and gold look classy and really change the look of the watch compared to the regular sports band. I love that it came with all the tools to adjust the band size, out of the box it was big enough for my wrist but was able to take it down to almost the smallest it got for my wife, but it could still go smaller so if you have slim wrists, it should still fit you. If you pop open the bottom there are a couple extra tips one of which I used to push the pins back in so be aware of that. If you are looking for a nice-looking band this one is a great option. I have a metal allergy that slowly eats my skin and this one didn’t set it off, however, that can sometimes be a coating that eventually wares off. Pros: Looks great Comfortable Size is customizable and semi-permanent (if you lose the pieces than permanent) Cons: It is a little difficult to adjust the size, but I see this as more of a one-time thing

I have an Apple Watch Series 8 which is 44mm, however! This band still fits believe it or not! It's still secured tightly onto the Apple Watch and is only slightly short when you put in and connect the inserts onto the watch. The color is great and quality is like an official Apple product in my opinion. It's easy to install and the strap works nicely. This type of mesh band is nice because of how easily adjustable the sizing is compared to the bands with holes in them. I haven't tested it with sweat/water yet though to see if there will be discoloration. So far it's just been used with general usage of wearing throughout the day while walking around as normal. I have a red Apple Watch, so I admit the color doesn't quite go as well with it, but it makes the Apple Watch look nicer haha. It truly is a great band and at a great price. Really nothing bad to say about it and all positives. If you don't like it, return it. But it's worth giving a try. I'm pretty confident that you will like this.

My wife is the Apple Watch owner (I'm not really and Apple guy anymore), and a stainless steel band was on her list of haves. Wasn’t thinking of Insignia as a brand to deliver the type of product she would be pleased with, but don’t sleep on them. I’ve learned they are strong players in the game with most, if not all of their offerings. I’ll forever be a package guy. I must say, the package for this band is very average, but don’t be fooled. Out of the box, the quality construction is evident. I’ve handled other stainless steel bands, high quality products, and this was no different. It also fit her watch perfectly. My wife did not need my assistance with the install either – always a plus. The band feels strong and sturdy, and looks very nice. Can’t help but recommend this band to anyone in the market for a stainless steel band for their Apple Watch, or if you want to glamorize your watch on occasion. My wife has a 40mm watch, and it fits and looks fantastic. I highly recommend it.

This steel mesh band for the Apple Watch is a fairly nice little accessory for your watch. The construction of the band is robust with a very good fit and finish. It feels more comfortable against my skin than I expected it to and the magnet that holds it closed is very strong. Not so strong that it makes removing it difficult but strong enough to wear without wearing about your watch falling off. Putting it on your watdh is fairly straight forward, as to be expected for a band designed for Apple Watch. Slide it into one of the slots designed for watch bands and you are good to go. My main complaint would be putting on your watch while threading the strap through one side. With practice it does get easier but the first day or two it requires a little more thinking on your part. Once you're used to that then you are good to go. The steel mesh part of the band feels like it will last a long time. I usually wear a leather watch band but usually after about two years it will break. That has always been the case. With this one I feel it will last much, much longer. If you are looking for a watch band that will last you long term and feel good on your wrist then this one is for you.

This Insignia Apple watch band is a great value. One of the best features on the Apple Watch is the ability to quickly and easily change bands based on your activity or preferences. It’s great to be able to have so many options at a reasonable price from Insignia. The band is smooth, without rough edges. It has a satisfying weight and feel. The mechanism is even more simple than the factory silicone band, the fixed rail goes on the top of the watch, and you attach the loop rail at the bottom and that's it, it pretty much falls onto your wrist when you put it on, it's very clean and simple. It snaps into the rails just as well as OEM bands with the satisfying click when it’s in the slot right. The champagne color would seem to correspond to Rose gold in the watch line, but I have no fashion sense, so it might go with other watches, I would never know :) Only one minor problem I’ve found is that the band doesn’t quite hold tight and requires frequent adjustment throughout the day to tighten it up a little. I think the magnet could use more oomph. This is a pretty small quibble since it is nearly effortless to make that adjustment. I would recommend this band to a friend.

So if you find yourself in the market for a watch band after your puppy chews up your leather watch band like me, look no further. So there are some pro's and con's to this watch band. Like i said one positive is if you have any type of pet that likes to chew things up well it's constructed of a metal material so it is very very durable. It is very easy to adjust on your wrist,so if you have very big wrist or very small wrist or anything in between you not limited to a clasp that has pre set holes. So it's going to fit your wrist no matter the size. The craftsmanship is amazin, it does not feel cheaply made like i thought it was going to. It has a little weight to it but not so heavy your wrist hurts after wearing it. It's very easy to get on and off. One drawback and this is if you are in certain fields like if you are a mechanic or work with any type of metal is the fact the clasp is held closed with a magnetic end. So as i have noticed if i'm working around anything metal the clasp will be attracted to the metal you are working around and can cause it to come off. But all in all that is the only drawback of the watch i can say i had. Otherwise it's an amazing watch band and you can't go wrong with it.

If you’re looking to upgrade your Apple Watch band and don’t want to pay OEM Apple prices the Insignia Stainless Steel Link Band is for you. I got this for my wife’s Apple Watch SE and it is a big upgrade from the watch band that comes with the Apple Watch & totally changes the look and feel. Her watch now looks a lot more expensive and classy. Build quality is great and looks to be made of good material. It is a two tone silver & rose gold color that blends in well. In the box it includes instructions and the link adjustment tool. It was really easy to shorten up the links on the band with the included tool. I was fairly impressed and surprised by the ease of it all. I didn’t even have to read the instructions as it was very intuitive. But you may want to just in case. Installing the band to the actual Apple Watch was a breeze as well. It felt securely in place just like the stock band that came with the Apple Watch. Slinging it in you can fell a firm click letting you know it’s in there. Again when I look at the Apple Watch on my wife’s wrist it looks more expensive than it actually is and compliments her. Overall I’d recommend the Insignia Apple Watch band if you’re looking to upgrade your watch band without having to pay those OEM Apple prices.

The Insignia Stainless Steel mesh Apple Watch Band is first of all very elegant in appearance at first sight and also feels very durable and comfortable. I needed to get a replacement band for a previous silver mesh band that tarnished over time and I am hoping that is one does not. The first thing that attracted me to this Insignia Mesh band was the magnetic closure and easy adjustment to different sizes without having to remove or add anything. It was easy to install on the watch just by sliding into the band slot and just as easy to remove with the push button release. Once I placed the watch with the new mesh band on my wrist, I was instantly satisfied to how comfortable it felt on my skin. The mesh design is fabricated in a way that leaves little to no space for the mesh to pinch the skin or get caught on any clothing or objects. The mesh also flexes and forms very easily around the wrist without stressing the joints or connections. The magnet closure is very secure and blends in nicely with the design. Best Buy’s Insignia brand comes through again with a winning product that is very competitive to the other big name brands as a third party provider.

This is a solid stainless steel watch band alternative to the more expensive Apple official version. There are a couple of minor things that I could see causing issues, but nothing unexpected. Overall, the fit and finish of this watch band are solid. Everything lined up nicely and I had no issues swapping bands with the watch itself. This can be an issue with other third-party manufacturers, but I didn't find any issues with the Insignia model. The biggest two cons I see are overall build quality, and color matching. I decided to try out the "Champagne" color way, which undoubtedly looks nice. However, I'm not sure what color watch face this is trying to pair with. It's not quite rose gold worthy, nor does it look good with gold, or almost any of the stainless steel models. This is more of a personal preference situation, but still worth noting for this color. The other issue I've already seen is chipping on the magnetic clasp portion. One area has already missed some paint, and it shows the bare magnet itself. It's on the bottom of the clasp, so it's not that much of an issue, but kind of disappointing nonetheless. All that said, it's a good enough band and looks great.

I’m so happy with my purchase of this band. It’s a very classy look with 2 tone silver and gold metal. It has a very nice clasp that keeps it secure. It totally changes and upgrades the look of wearing an Apple Watch.

There are so many varieties of Apple Watch bands that it’s tough to find a good value band that actually stands up well to extended use. This band does exactly that though. Right out of the box the band has a high quality appearance and feel to it. Upon putting the band on the watch body the clasp went in very smoothly and it did not catch at all like some other cheaper versions. Putting the watch on is very simple as the magnetic attachment makes the band usable for a multitude of wrist sizes and the magnet is strong enough to where it stays at whatever size you select for your wrist. After using the watch for a few days there are two key things that stood out. The first was that the color is not rubbing off or scratching in the slightest which is one common issue that occurs with many other cheaper bands. The other huge positive is that the band has not pinched my skin or pulled the hair on my wrists. Overall, this band hits both aspects of functionality and appearance as it gives off that premium look and holds up to daily use. Thus, for the price I would highly recommend this band for those looking for a more formal band for their Apple Watch.

very pretty, but not for skinny wrist, tsking out the xtra links was not that easy, the tool that came with it broke on the last one, still able to use it but would have liked it to go one link smaller, took about a hour to do it, only because it was so small and hard to see.
