SD worked. Micro SD DID NOT work - read or write. Tried 3 different cards. Tried on 2 different computers. More expensive than many available online that do more for less $. Bought because this was available in the store & had CF slot. Will return it to store.

Great on the ability to view multiple cards at once but the port broke on me in two months in the back. I purchased another one and the same thing happen to me with the new one. I would not recommend this item for use to anybody.

I specifically asked it this device would read nano SIM cards for iPhones and he assured me it would. Best Buy will not allow a return of opened electronics so I have 20 + dollar card reader I can't use. Great marketing.

However, I understand your situation and I want you to know that you can take advantage of the 15 day return period that Best Buy grants you for this product directly at the Customer Service counter at your nearest store with your receipt in hand.

Had several SD card readers I just plugged into my laptop and after a while they fail or are too slow. Having always had good experiences with Insignia, I purchased this reader, expecting higher speed etc. I picked it up just when the social distancing started to kick in and Best Buy started to have the lines outside. Anyway, the SD card reader didn't work ONCE, blue light is blinking, I can even see the files on the card on my laptop, but I am unable to transfer the files, I get error message. Now, I always have to use my backup CF card and have to download from there, which includes photo sets that are already deleted on the SD card. Going back to the store is too cumbersome. NOT HAPPY!
