Of course, these things happen right before a trip and I didn't try it out before leaving. I'm very glad I put my faith in this brand. It works like a charm and absolutely no complaints up to this point. I have had it for over almost a year!

I didn't even realize the ASUS laptop I had purchased didn't have a standard SD card reader so I had to go back and purchase this reader separately. I haven't had any problems using it. It's pretty much 'plug and play' so to speak.

She gave it to me to see if I could get it working. Actually, I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I took some pictures on different settings, all good! I wanted to save some of the pictures so I connected it with a USB cable to my Windows computer and much to my surprise, I couldn't see or transfer the pictures from the camera. I had an old multi-memory card reader so I dug it out and it didn't seem to get along with Windows 10. So I purchased this online from BestBuy, picked it up with curbside delivery, ran home, plugged it into my computer and the camera's SDcard into it and had the photos transferred in no time. I don't think that it even needed to load drivers.

This is a great workaround. Don't need the CF reader, but the ability to read SD and microSD at the same time is a great feature.

(The older IMACs had them on the side of the screen and they were easy to reach... guess that was too easy.) This memory card reader makes them more accessible.

I baaically use this to transfer my camera pics to computer and I never felt any problem or noise . So far its working great. Pretty compact design and especially lightweight and portable. Good choice for the file tranasfers .
