Purchased to back up MANY precious photos.

About a month ago, my wifes phone/camera suddenly LOST several hundred photos....the carrier staff at their store couldn't help. Fortunately, another carrier staff member who was working at Best Buy solved/found the photos and therefore recommended this for another backup.

Also works if you want to get windows 20 on a new pc if you dont have a usb drive

Satisfies a missing attribute of my upgraded PC

I'm not sure why, since my other electronics have memory cards. This was a simple solution, but still an add-on that I have to store and plug in when needed.
