We finally bought a new laptop, but it didn't have an sd card reader or a micro usb port. We decided on this adapter and were finally able to look at all of our vacation photos with no issues!

It makes it real easy to share your photos from a camera SD card with anybody that has a computer. My computers at home do not have card readers so this fixes the problem when I unload my photos from my DSLR camera. it has never failed and transfers with good speed.
