With computer inputs changing with technology, loading photos from various devices can be challenging to say the least. Some computers have USB inputs, some have USB-C, but few of the newer computers have input slots for memory card slots. To add to the confusion, different devices utilize different sized memory cards. Some devices (like cameras) use standard SD cards while other devices (like phones) use mini-SD cards Fortunately, this device allows both of the standard sizes to be loaded through a computer USB port (note: if you are using a newer Macbook Pro, you will need to purchase a USB to USB-C adapter). A great product for a reasonable cost.

I am very happy with this memory card reader. The design is streamlined and easy to use and store. The cover is easy to remove and does not get misplaced because it remains attached. My images uploaded notably quicker than my old card reader which I was replacing. I am very happy with this purchase and the fact that Best Buy had it in stock for local pickup when I needed it in a hurry!

I got my first Desktop in 10 years of laptop use and realized I didn't have a SD Card Reader anymore. This reader, when plugged into a USB 3 slot is super fast and easy. I take hundreds of pictures at my daughters games and it downloads them all very fast. There were some more expensive, but I cannot justify them with this readers performance.

I love this. It’s small and portable. It’s got enough memory. It’s quick and easy. Loads fine. Haven’t had any issues with losing files if not properly ejected.

Superfast USB 3.0. Prior to this, I used a USB cable straight to my camera. Now I can download pictures and videos from my camera to my computer in a fraction of the time. I highly recommend it, especially if you have a lot of pictures to download; It's no larger than a flash drive so It can easily fit in a camera.

I edit 4K video files and needed a faster way to download micro-SD and SD cards. This card reader with USB 3.0 interface downloads files about 8-10 times faster (85-90 MB/S) than my old card reader . It is compact, does not require an adapter for micro-SD cards and fits easily in your pocket. I would definitely purchase again.

I bought this adapter since my 2016 MacBook Pro doesn’t have an SD Card slot, and I already had a USB-C adapter, because USB-C to SD adapters are expensive. This setup works great! I would recommend this reader to everyone looking for a good reader at a good price. The speeds are fast and this SD Card reader works flawlessly! Worth every penny!

This compact sized USB memory card reader is great. It is the size of a USB thumb drive so fits in your pocket easily to easily take anywhere. It is fast and reads my micro SD cards quickly and easily. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a great, small card reader for your laptop or desktop.

This is the best product for reading and writing SD memory cards that I have ever seen. The computer I had before had card readers built in, but my new computer does not. I use a lot of micro SD cards for Arduino and Raspberry Pi computer work and this is the handiest item I have ever seen.

This is a great little card reader. It's small enough that you can carry it with you or throw it in a camera bag and not worry about it. I am not great with technology but it was no problem using. It's super fast and simple to use. I recommend it!

I usually transfer my countless photos and huge recorded videos from my mobile phone to my laptop using the very slow bluethoot or connect the cable directly, actions that take a long time. Now I have a 512GB Micro-SD card and when my mobile memory is full, I remove it and connect it to this "Memory Card Reader Insignia 3.0", which transfers everything to my computer in a fraction of the time it does cable. In addition I acquired a small "USB adapter female to USB-C" in case I am out and I need to make space in my emergency mobile, so I move files to an SD or Micro-SD card. Now I have taken the pleasure of using many large SD and micro SD memories to transport or backup files, and this reader makes it very practical and easy for me.

I bought this device to transfer photos from my camera to website listings of mobile homes. It is compact, priced right, worked flawlessly, is easily stored, and reads several different memory cards. Very pleased with this item.

I bought this to download pics and videos off of the SD cards in digital cameras and drones, and it has done what I've asked of it thus far. Transfer speeds have certainly been adequate, and it is definitely easy to use. I like that the cap is attached to the device, but it is done so using what seems to be rather flimsy rubber. Says you can attach it to a keychain, but my concern with that is the possibility of losing it, as there is no rigid, fully enclosed contact point, just the tether that keeps the cap attached. All in all, a nice little card reader that does what you would expect it to.

Small, easy to use and works great. I had another one that took all the different cards but sometimes my computer would not recognize it. This one just takes SD cards (which is what I have) and works every time. And it's so small. Highly recommend it!

My front panel card reader wasn't compatible with my newer x570 motherboard. Found this USB 3.0 card reader. Works perfectly and the speeds are much faster. Terrific price.

This is a reliable card reader that is easy to use for the variety of SD card formats. Transfer was quick and the reader was easily recognized by my system.

I had been having a lot of trouble getting info from my laptop or my smartphone using an mSD Card to my PC(it is old has no reader built in). Even trying to transfer info. on my phones mSD to my Laptop, which does have a reader was impossible(no idea what the problem was, still don't). But it doesn't matter now. This Insignia Reader worked the first time & everytime since(only had 4 days, but used five times). Not once was it not readable. No matter if I used it with a PC/LT or a MacBook! I love this reader. Portable, strong & reliable. Wish all adapters worked this well, no matter what kind. Now I have only had it for four days, but I really don't see any problems in the future. If any changes "I will upgrade", sorry update my post.

This USB 3 adapter for SDs and microSDs is fast and reliable. I use for camera images and phone files. Small and convenient, I keep with my camera case. Works as fast and consistently as units that are much more expensive.

Excellent for my SD Cards. Very reliable and convenient size to carry anywhere. A must have for anyone downloading pictures or files into a pc. Download speeds are great too.
