this thing is super small/compact and easily fits down in the corner of my camera bag taking little space so I always have a way to transfer files to any computer. my home hub is much faster than this little device, but this device works just fine and is super convenient to keep with my camera gear.

It is small and it works great, the memory cards all fit nice

The software to download photos directly from my camera no longer works (and I couldn't download new software) so getting a memory card reader was a perfect solution. This item allows me to download photos from my memory card directly to my computer. The compact size means I can easily carry it and don't have to find extra space on my desk for it.

I don't have CD ROM size opening on my PC to put a card reader in. It should be noted this device uses SD and Micro SD which covers my phone and Camera. It can also let you recycle SD card when you upgrade them. When in my PC, works just as fast as my Kingston 3.0 flash card and can even view video from the Insignia. My Samsung TV has an internal media player that lets me watch video or listen to music on a conventional USB flash card. But the TV's player will not read from this Insignia device.

I bought this item because my laptop's built-in SD card reader stopped working after I had to completely re-install Windows. This card reader worked pretty much as soon as I plugged it in and that's all I could ask for.

We use these at work to transfer photos from cameras. I find them quick to use and easy to move between PCs

Had to purchase this because my newer desktop does not have an SD card reader. I was worried that it wouldn’t transfer photos fast enough due to being transferred via this media but I was dead wrong and couldn’t be happier. Simply solution for my photography needs and maintains 3.0 USB speed.

I purchased this so I could read my SD cards away from my laptop. I can hook it up to my cell phone with an adapter which enables me to get to my cards anywhere. The care reader holds the SD & the micro SD cards although you can load them you cannot open them both at the same time. This is also a 3.0 which is faster than the 2.0 I can transfer files to/from my phone but I have not yet tried that feature. This is also cool to have when visiting because you can hook it up to any acceptable device to get to your files so you don't have to lug around your laptop.

I bought this to take to work to download photographs from my digital camera to my work laptop (which does not have a media card reader). The camera is Fuji and has proprietary cable which is we only have one to share among 60 people. This product saves me time and is easy to plug in and quick to transfer photographs. Great Product!

Only used a couple of times to manage my GoPro vid files. Haven't experienced any issues with the micro slot and transfer speeds are in line with expectations and it has a nice solid feel. I'm still wondering whether or not I like the rubber band that tethers the USB cover to the unit.
