I have never had any issues uploading photos from my SD card onto my computer. This is faster than attaching the camera directly to the computer. It is a more direct option for file transfers.

While I don't typically like the "dongle," there are occasions that make it worthwhile (like when the ports are full and there is no room for a "compact" solution).

I like the fact that it has separate micro SD card and standard SD card inputs ,so no adapter is needed for micro SD cards. Files show up in file manager.

Unfortunately the new laptop computer we purchased only came with a micro card reader so we had to buy this memory card reader to use with our larger size memory cards.

Good except

The full sized SD slot works well. And using an adapter with a MicroSD it works. But my MicroSD only slot does not seem to read on my MacBook and looking at their drivers I found nothing to help. It’s still good. And fairly fast.
