Nice for the price!!! Works very easy with my Iphone!!!

I can turn the patio lights on before I get home or if I’m expecting guest.

When it’s connected it works great. It disconnects often though.

Great smart switch at a decent price. I would give it 5 stars if it was 3 way capable. This switch can only be wired in if it's the only switch in the light circuit. If you have 2 toggle switches, like for a stairwell in upstairs/downstairs, it will not work. If you need this type of switch, you will have to find a different make and model. Simple single switch wiring is all this will do.

Some of the other reviews made me skeptical if these would work. After the simple installation and quick, everything worked like a breeze. Just follow the instructions and you'll be set up in no time. You DO NOT need the Insignia Connect app, you can just use the built in HomeKit application on iOS.

The only problem is very poor compatibility with apps in Applee sistem

I really like the fact that I can turn the lights off from anywhere.

Instructions are too skimpy and vague. I will say it works well when it is working, but it was continually going off line for some reason and is a real pain to take the wall plate off to reset it and call tech support. I'm taking it back tonight to Best Buy for a refund.

Bought 3 of these at the $20 price each. I connected to a single switch setup and connected to the WIFI with no problems. Tried to connect to a 3 light switch and kept getting a disconnection from the internet. Great product if it only worked with multiple switches. Has setup for turning on and off at set times during the work.

Works as intended, just don't try to use with 3-way switch...

you need to down load an app and have an bestbuy account to make it work. not hard to do but when i when to install it it would drop it or not work at all and sometimes it took 5 mins to work. but it did work great after thy did an app update so its great now thanks for fixing it

This switch is good to have. It helps with the electric bill it provides a sense of safety, helps keep the bugs low. You can schedule a set on and off or just turn it off yourself. For a few weeks it seem not to work correctly. The light would be on before the scheduled to time. Now it keeps the schedule like clock work.

Easy enough to install if you have basic wiring knowledge, and worked beautifully for about 3 months. It recently started notifying me that it lost its WiFi connection. So I would do a quick reset and it would be okay again. Then it started doing it more often, ie at least 3 times a week. About a month after the first time, it’s stops responding to Alexa but works with Siri, and I’m still resetting on the regular. Now, I did a full factory reset and the light just continues to blink. Can’t connect to it via HomeKit, Alexa, or the Insignia Connect app. It’s just a straight up manual switch now. I was looking for something that would work both with Alexa and Siri. Save your cash!
