After a few months, this switch gradually started turning off or on the lights later and later after my Google Home command. My other switches from other manufacturers didn’t have this problem. Eventually, it stopped responding.

This was definitely a little harder to install than I would like but it really was because of a server update that needed to occur. Don't think very many people took the time to call CS and investigate what was going on so maybe bad reviews were wrong place, wrong time. Overall satisfied at the moment.

We don't need a whole house full of automation, but enabling Alexa to turn on one light when we walk in the house at night is super convenient and avoids the potential tripping over something in the dark. "Alexa, turn on the light".

Once I was able to get through the setup process, very confusing, it notes works flawlessly with Apple Home kit. You must read the setup instructions very carefully and follow to each exact step. This includes having and logging into your BestBuy account from within the Insignia app.

Replace ordinary wall switch in minutes. Download app and connect to wifi with a few clicks. Connect to Google Home in seconds. Control lights with phone or just speak to Google Home. Also turns on and off like an ordinary wall switch.

This was a great addition to my Apple home system. It is very easy to connect. The only issue that I see is that the product only seems to be registering central time even though I am in eastern time so i have to put the timers on the app 1 hr later then when it really is.

Easy to install with minimal electrical experience - had an issue syncing to Amazon Alexa initially, but once I got it I haven’t had to revisit. I’ll be buying more of these for our home, great price for a decent wi-fi switch

easy to install with little to no knowledge of electrical components. So far it’s worked well. Only complaint would be the click pad feels a little flimsy but since it’s a smart switch you hardly ever touch it.

Bought this to use with Apple home and Amazon alexa works well with both only issue is my wi-Fi sucks so when the switch looses connection upon reconnecting the lights turn on not being home during the day sometimes this is aggravating overall Iam satisfied works great

So I bought this switch to control the ceiling fan in my bedroom. Works wonderfully when you're lying there, cold, and just say "Hey Siri, turn off the the fan." That being said, once your have your switch set up with Apple Home, you can't get Alexa to control it. Other than that, the app itself works well. Apple Home is a little slow when checking the status, but i've not had any issues. Installation was a little difficult. The instructions are very simple. Red/black = positive, white = negative, green neutral RIGHT? No, not in the instructions. Once I was able to decode the instructions, it stated working and I only blew the fuse once. Works like a charm and love the green indicator light, makes for a good nightlight.

Easy install, good directions, works great! I have it paired with google home and have had no problems. I want to replace all the swithches in my house with this. I love the automatic on/off time function.

Having purchased two off these to go with my new Google Home, I was upset that the product would not connect. When I called support, it was recommended that I return it and buy Wemo. I did!

I have switches in locations that require climbing stairs - a lot of stairs, so I decided to try these WiFi switches. the instructions were good, the product worked just as advertised.

Bought this to use with google home. At first it would connect to Apple home no problem. But not google, after hours of tech support with google discovered the registered account with insignia must be a gmail account before it works.

Good product. Does exactly what it was designed to do. I purchased it to play with the technology. The best feature is you can set brightness themes for your lighting if leave lights on. Cannot be used as a 3-way switch from what I read. BOO!

The instructions are ok, but not every wiring situation is the same. It covers just a straight switch. Not if a duel switch on either side of the room. If you hook it up that way the other switch turns off the smart part

If you've ever replaced a worn-out wall socket of put in a new light switch, then the hardware part will be no problem. You do need to have some application experience to activate the "smart" functions for this device. Depending on your Smart Home hub, you will probably need to download and configure at least two separate apps. Installed this at the bottom of the basement steps. That's where the only switch for the basements lights is located. Now when my grandchildren stay over, they just tell Alexa to turn on the basement instead of having to go all the way into the creepy darkness where all the monsters live.

The best part of this switch is that it works with Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant. It is also much easier to install compared to similar products thanks to the wire pigtails.

Can’t configure with the app. The installation instructions were AWFUL!! I would return it but it’s too big a pain to change things now. I’m a prisoner of this product.

Install was easy. Setup was easy. Use IFTTT (if this then that) app to pair with google home. "Okay google, turn off the hall light." Marriage saved.
