i loved the idea of a wifi light switch for my front porch but this switch is no longer supported with the insignia app.

No fuss. Swap with old switch, sync with wifi, and you're good to go. Ultimate control. Replace 1 switch instead of multiple bulbs (for a chandelier for instance)

Insignia does not put any quality in there product. I bought 3 smart switches and 2 smart outlets. The switches would Frequently Disappear from the app when ever I would step out of the house. I would not be able to control my switch. This would happen often not all the time but it got so frustrating that, I took them back to the store and bought a more reliable brand. Don’t buy this cheap brand. I will update how my TP-link brand does in one month

I bought 2 units. It's very simple to setup. Only follow the instructions of the app. I have both running smooth and setup with Google Assistant. RECOMMEND!

It’s easy to set up but recommend you follow the instructions to a tee especially if you have never dealt with electronics.

Bought 2 of these for my bedroom, paired with a google home mini, and it was worth every penny. Never have to get up to cut the lights on or off ever again. lol

I love this wireless switch for the price. One of the only complaints I have is it could be easier to initially set up and the small light letting you know switch is on is really bright at night.

I had nothing but problems with these. I bought three and all of them would randomly disconnect, have the most issues with connecting using the app (both Android and iOS), and often only work as just a regular switch instead of a smart switch. I returned one so far well after the return period because it just stopped working. The app is terrible (check the reviews in Google Play store). Skip this and get something like Kasa or GE brand.

Best money I have ever spent, love the home kit interface. Simple to setup only problem kinda bulky. For the price and home kit there worth every penny

I bought three while they were on sale in April '18. Ever since I've had them, they've been the most unreliable piece of tech I use. Constantly disconnecting from whatever WiFi system I use, they have become nothing more than fancy light switch buttons with an annoying, flashing green light. One switch doesn't even show up anymore no matter how many times I reset it. I plan to see if I can exchange them for the TP Link switches.

As stated in the instructions you must have a ground wire in your switch outlet. I used it to control a ceiling fan. Combined with Google assistant Work with the app. Not available with toggle.

It does what it said it does. Husband said it was easy to install. Use the app to turn it on and off or a lil tap on the switch to turn on and off

What can I say, I would give this switch less than one star if it was possible. Switch connected fine, worked for about 4 days then stopped connecting. After 2 days of repeated attempts it finally connected, worked for another day then disconnected again. Lucky I am still within Betbuy's return window so this junk is going back to the store.

I needed a switch to replace my programmable light switch for my porch light. I read the reviews about not being able to get multiple switches to sync. i only had a small problem getting one switch to sync to wifi and the app. The Scheduled programs if where the switch let me down. Sometimes it would work how i set the program, sometimes it wouldn't. I only bought this switch because i couldn't find a programmable switch locally. I've since bought the same intermatic switch that broke online to replace this switch.

These are the best. I order one to test it. Ended up buying 2 more. Planning on swapping all wall switches to these besides dinners.

Hardware is great. Software and App needs to get better. The app loses connectivity which means you can’t use google home to control. You can still use apple home kit.

Item works great with a smart home setup. I use the Google assistant and can control- send commands with ease. Included installation instructions make it easier.

works good but goes offline a lot. not sure if is an issue with it or my wifi but it is the only thing I have issues with. and set up is stubborn.

I couldn't get the switches to work with the Insignia App, but they work with my iPad Home App. I wish I could set up a schedule on Home App but I'm dealing.

I loved this switch up until a week ago. It quit communicating. So I deleted it from my app and tried reinstalling it and can’t get it to come back.
