Others have stated they have been having issues with setting them up. I have not seen any of these issues. As long as you have good 2.4Ghz coverage in your home, you shouldn't have any issues with connections. As for the application, I bypassed that and use Apple HomeKit exclusively and it works just as described.

Loved having the power meter. Pairs well with controlling devices.

i bought this at the store. Product it self looks good. However that’s where it stops. I was not able to get app to find my home network or the plug for that matter. Did all the normal stuff, unplug, reset, delete and reinstall app, nothing. Called support, they had no idea. .. told me, wait for app Update in a few days or take back?!? Waited for update ( I’m recovering from torn tendons and can’t walk, so taking back would be difficult) updated app. . Same thing. I guess i will be taking product back.

It worked for a week then wouldn’t connect anymore spent hours trying to get it to work again and it would not go with a different one this one is terrible

It's used for remote control of Christmas lights. It's installed indoors with an extension cord to the lights. It lived through the Christmas season with no failures. IPhones are used to operate the plug with the Home app via wifi.

Does not connect to Alexa. You have to use a separate app on your phone to turn it on and off. Called a computer geek to help and could not get it to connect either

Needed something to handle turning on an oil heater in the basement so its warm when i get home. Doesn't work with vivint but the separate app is easy to install and use. Would buy another if the need arises

This outlet was extremely easy to set up and get going with HomeKit. Less than 30 seconds it was connected and working as advertised. I use it to turn on and off my Christmas tree with Siri.

Great opportunity to turn anything you plug in to an outlet to a smart device. Using Alexa or similar device you can control the power to anything you plug in to this.

Did not work with the program times feature. Sometimes it would turn the light off remotely but not all the time. Returned the item.

Waste of money - not reliable. It was working fine for couple weeks and then start loosing wifi connection several times a day. I've replaced my wifi router, but plug still looses connection. Led just blinks and plug doesn't reconnect automatically, so you have to manually reset the plug and then it start working for a while. The plug is worthless - I can't control it remotely once wifi connection is lost.

I had a difficult time getting it connected to my home network. Even after getting it connected, it would disconnect constantly. I know that others have had success with these, but I did not. After spending about an hour off and on trying to make it work as expected I gave up. I ended up returning it for a different brand (tp link) and I have had no problems.

Knowing I can schedule my lights to turn on and off, and can do so from another room or even outside of my house, I like this product. Setup is easy

I really suggest that you get this wi- fi plug for a gift and for your self. It works well with most smart devices and signals are great with this.

Wouldn’t work from the start! Never did get it working! Don’t buy!
