Q: Can I use Apple Siri to control the outlet...?
A: Yes! You set it up through Apple Home. We currently have our Halloween decorations on it!
Q: Will this plug work outdoors for controlling holiday lights?
A: I would imagine so. I've got mine plugged into a GFCI outlet and it works fine. I am able to turn the plug off and on. I would say though that it will need to be protected from the elements if used on an outdoor plug or GFCI plug. The typical outdoor GFCI plug cover is not sufficient enough. I'm not sure how to resolve this unless you run an extension cord from inside the house or garage.
A: Yes I have the same problem. Logging off and logging back into app *might* restore the devices. Else we have to wait for an app update. (Yes: horrible quality!)

Q: Can you use this to shut down the wiifii for the house at night, and turn it on in the morning?
A: If you have your wifi plugged into this outlet it will let you shut it down but not turn it back on since your wifi is off and that's what is needed to relay your message to turn that outlet back on.
Q: Does this plug have an on/off switch or button on the unit itself?
A: Yes, it does. The device itself is a pain to setup. I would recommend buying a different brand.
