I bought this for my nephews since they play Fortnite a lot on their Xbox One and so far, it's okay. It works sometimes. The mic and audio occasionally stop working but it's still a good headset most of the time, according to my nephews.

The quality of the headset is terrific. I have no issues with the way the sound comes through the ear piece and the fit is very comfortable for playing online.

Just needed something simple. This gets the job done

Bought this for my daughter since her dog likes to eat headsets. Some issues with the mute button not working correctly. Didn't feel like returning since I suspect it is going to have a short life expectancy. You get what you pay for.

I'd recommend going with a more of a superb quality gaming headset. This is not a bad product since it doesn't cover up both ears and you can still hear what's going on around you. I would still recommend this product for those on a lower budget.

You definitely get what you pay for. Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? No. Hard to hear even with the volume all the way up. And feedback is a problem. There’s also no way to turn off the mic or mute yourself.

This is a decent headset if you need affordability.

It does mention it on the box but incase you are purchasing for someone who has an old Xbox One S controller... You will need to buy an adapter to be able to use this headset. Just a headsup for those checking reviews on this headset :)

Simple and inexpensive, if you are just looking for chat capabilities while playing then this is a great deal. My son and I play against each other on different levels of our home and these are great.

For the cheapest on the market, it does exactly what it is supposed to. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want good sound, or good voice pickup, go with a more expensive one. If you just want to occasionally chat with your friends... this is the one.

I prefer using chat mics over full sound headsets since I have a full surround sound system in my gaming room. When my original Xbox One headset was rendered useless by a felines cord chewing habit, I had to find a replacement. Seeing this for $10 less than the Xbox model, I figured it was worth a shot. I have always had luck with all other Insignia products I have tried in the past. Well, I was not lucky with this one. First issue is that you have to use a headset adapter for older Xbox One controllers. I had one, and knew that going in, but many people might not know this, and needing one eliminates any value of the lower price point when using an older controller. Second issue is that these headsets are just plain uncomfortable. It just digs into your head too much, and me being bald made this somewhat painful. The third issue, and the one that really ruined it, was the constant echo while in chat. Everyone, including myself, could hear an echo when I used this mic. Every other headset I used worked fine, but this one echoed each and every time I used it. I ended up having to return it due to this last issue. When I did, one of the BB staff said they have had complaints about that same issue, so it makes me know that the issue wasn't isolated. So, look elsewhere for your chat only mics, as this one doesn't quite cut it.

Works well. I seem to break them every couple months. Please keep a few in stock. I have bought more after this purchase date.

I purchased this headset for my son and it does suit its purpose. Everytime I look around he is talking and he is on this headset very lightweight easy to plug in easy to talk on awesome.

If you are looking for a mic that's affordable and not going to break your pocket then here it is. This mic serves its purpose for just talking on it. You can hear the party clear.
