bad connection after 6 months

Unfortunately the connection into the controller is now failing. major static and now it only works if you spin the plug into the sweet spot and you get connection. Otherwise static and no signal, no sound. Shame. Now I have to do some sort of warranty replacement, which I hope goes through.
