I had to follow this to make sure it didn't knock over my lamps. Easier to do myself.

Smudged my hardwood floors. Did not clean my kitchen tile at all.

My home is 1750 square feet all of which is tiled. My floors are usually pretty clean as I own an iRobot, and we always wipe our feet when we enter our home. We usually mop our floors monthly and by the time I received our new iRobot Braava Jet M6., our floors really needed to be mopped clean. The iRobot is very simple to use and is quite compact in appearance. Upon receipt you will need to charge your unit fully. While charging, take the time to download the iRobot app. The iRobot has a reservoir that you need to add some cleaning solution as well as fill with water. Next you will have to mount a cleaning pad of choice. You are now ready for cleaning. The iRobot effortless glides around table legs, goes underneath beds, couches and dressers. It cleans in a definitive pattern and by no means is it random. From my experience the best type of cleaning is not random. It will gently bump into objects as it learns the layouts of your home. The iRobot is super quiet, as I had mine operating while watching TV. The iRobot has something called "Imprint". The iRobot will map and learn each and every room in your home. You can control (via app) which rooms are to be cleaned and when. You can also preschedule your iRobot to take on a cleaning routine in advance. Nice feature. This robot is great for cleaning light splatters, dust, and small debris on your floors. Although I did not test the iRobot on heavy dirt or mud on my floors, I do believe that it would be in your best interest to spot clean those "heavy" areas before you let your iRobot depart on a cleaning routine. After all the cleaning pads are not large in surface area by any sense of the word. Cleaning times for a room 18 X 15 feet took around 50 minutes during my testing. In my opinion it was a rather long cleaning cycle, (but it did a really nice job of mopping). My tiles were squeaky clean with no visible streaks. The unit methodically sprays and mops over an area (in a straight line). I did have concerns that the iRobot would spray cleaning fluid onto my couches, dust-ruffle and walls during the cleaning process, but I was pleasantly surprised. The iRobot takes into consideration what is directly in front of the unit and during my testing never once sprayed anything it wasn't supposed to. Furthermore when it comes in contact with an obstacle, it will then change directions and keep on cleaning. Exactly one half of the bottle was used during the cleaning of this room. This means that I would need 2 or 2 1/2 bottles of floor cleaner to do my entire home. The product comes with 2 wet mop pads, and 2 dry mop pads and they are not meant to be reused. You can purchase multi-use washable wet mop pads, which I believe should have been supplied to the consumer. I would highly suggest you go out and purchase the reusable wet mop pads. During my testing of the iRobot, the unit did send me an alert that it needed help. The error was number 24 which means that the unit is on an uneven surface or it is on an obstacle. When I checked, there was no obstacle and the surface area was indeed flat. This could be troublesome if you're not home and you have prescheduled your iRobot for a cleaning schedule. You can try to resume the routine through the app, but there is no guarantee this will be effective in getting your iRobot to restart. The bottom line you may ask? The iRobot worked performed well, worked as advertised, and did a decent job mopping my floors. The unit is not very fast at mopping, but it more than makes up for that in the cleanliness of your floors. The mapping was good and it managed to clean each room without missing any spots. The app was responsive and was laid out nicely. Get ready to fire your maid. Highly recommended.

This hard floor cleaner is a real convenience and time saver. Once it learns your layout and you label your rooms, just tell it where to clean and it gets to work. It has both dry mop and wet mops pads and they both work well. When I initially set it up on its training runs I thoroughly vacuumed my floors first and started it with the dry mop pad. I was amazed at the amount of dirt the dry pad picked up after I had vacuumed. For wet mopping there's a small tank you fill with water and cleaning solution which it sprays onto the floor ahead of it as it goes. The wet mop does a great job too. Commands can be given through the app that you download or you can setup voice command through Alexa or Google assistant. I used google assistant and you can tell it to have Braava Jet clean individual rooms or all rooms. You can set up a cleaning schedule with the app but when I asked google assistant to schedule a cleaning it replied that it didn't know how to do that. I have tried that several times but always get one of two answers - it doesn't know to do that or hasn't learned that yet. I don't know if it will ever learn that, but that' not a real negative to me. I just scheduled cleaning through the app. The app is very useful, showing your house layout with the named rooms, cleaning history, schedule, and preferences that allow you to adjust cleaning level. And as an added bonus is it's kind of interesting to watch the way it works, you might find you're cleaning more often just to be entertained by it.

I bought this for my 1600sq foot home and it works amazingly. It is easy to use and setup. Basically it is only a few step setup and the app is easy to use. I love that it maps your home, that way it isn’t just hitting things and going wild. The pads are easy to put on and the water is easy to insert. It cleans well but make sure you sweep before. It is only for mopping not vacuuming or sweeping-it does dust the floors but there is not place for the pickup of trash like their vaccines have. My floors are clean and streak free after I use. iRobot all sells all of the parts you will need on their app which is so concierges-mop pads and cleaner. I would definitely recommend this. It is so convenient and makes my life so much easier.

This is my first smart robot house cleaning device, I have a friend who has one of the older iRobot vacuums so I am aware of how well these devices work. The Braava jet m6 robot mop was far and above my expectations in how well it works. My entire downstairs area is wood floors with the exception of the kitchen and this robot does an amazing job of keeping it all clean.The Alexa integration makes controlling the mop a breeze with selectable areas that you can set up on the mobile app and then run with voice control whenever. Setup is easy and you can start a program and leave it running without having to worry. Overall this is an amazing product and I am completely hooked now, I can never go back to a regular mop ever again for such a large area.

After evert mop, jet gets clogged. Mopping without spray. Not sure what to do, its frustrating sometimes.

No automatic mapping .. not worth .. literally took all the effort to scan littlw area of our living space

Good robot for mopping. Older model by now but still does the job. Might be slower than newer versions but if that doesn’t matter, it’s all you need.

This iRobot Braava Jet M6 is awesome! We already own an iRobot vacuum and the app works for both the vacuum and the M6, and that is so convenient! Nothing extra to download! The voice control is an added bonus! The mop works great. We have almost all hard floors and this keeps them clean and span with little effort on my part. I love that this mop is also a dry sweeper for those times when a wet mop isn’t really necessary. The cleanser works fine, but I would like the ability to use a cleaner of my own choosing. We have a dog who sheds like it’s her job and the dry sweeper gets all the stray hair and dust bunnies. I like the pads, it would be great if they were made of fabric and washable reusable even if that made them cost more I would prefer that to the throw away pads. More cost effective and better for the environment. Overall, I would recommend this robot mop!

Did not work at all and just returned the product today at the store

The Breva jet robot mop is an excellent addition to my house. It is surprisingly useful in keeping my hardwood floors clean, and when paired with a vacuum robot, I have not seen a spec of dust in days. What I really like about this robot mop is how thorough it is when mopping the floors. It was able to navigate through tough corners, and even between all the chairs around the dining table. The robot will also avoid carpet as best as it can. From what I noticed, if there is an elevation change, it will consider that as carpet, and back up to try a different route. If you are worried that the robot might spray things by accident like your walls or furniture, don't be. Before it sprays, it backs up from the route it used to be on by a couple of feet, sprays, and then continues on. I was quite surprised at how delicate it was around the obstacles. While it does bump into things, it is not rough and does not leave any scratches or dents. The whole package comes with a sample bottle of cleaning solution and four cleaning pads (two wet and two dry). The cleaning solution for me on a normal run (about 400-500 square feet) looks like it will last 4 runs before I'd have to buy more. I did also set the spray amount to the least as any higher was making the floor unnecessarily wet. Although the wet mops were advertised as one use only, it's probably best to use your best judgement before throwing it away. For me, I was able to get a couple uses out of them before they were filled with dust. The app used to control the robot is very simple. Following the steps to set up the robot, you can have it up and running in less than five minutes. The app also learns your home the best that it can, so to have consistent cleaning it is best to keep the layout as close as possible. Overall, I am extremely happy with the performance and handiness of this robot. While it may seem like a robot vacuum will be enough for your floors, you'd be surprised at the amount of dust it misses or pushes around when vacuuming. To get the cleanest floors with little effort, investing in a mop robot is not a bad idea at all.

I am a big fan of automation and I love my robot vacuum and all of my smart devices. I am also a neat freak with 2 cats and was excited to try this new iRobot mop. The device was nicely packaged and the instructions were very clear. The iRobot app got the mop quickly onto my network. I put on one of the included dry mop pads (very easy) and I began the process of training my mop. The training is the first part I did not love. It’s fun to watch the iRobot move around and learn the home and it is amazing how it avoided my area rug. The training process just takes too long! I had to run the process at least 4 times and I don’t even have a huge area of wood flooring. Quite an annoying process especially after I moved the base to a different location and had to do the training all over again. The m6 did a great job once the training was done of separating the rooms and then labeling them was very easy, as was picking a specific room to clean. The dry mop did a nice job of cleaning up some cat hair and small debris that my vacuum missed. Now where this really failed me, the wet mop. I started using the pads that came with the machine and my floors were left streaky. I lowered the amount of solution to be used to the minimum and still lots of streaks. Part of the problem could be my flooring, I have very shiny, cherry floors. Everything shows on them, especially streaks, but a $500 mop should not leave streaks. Before writing my review I ordered the washable mop pads on the Best Buy site and tried those but had the same result. I wanted to love this IRobot m6, I really did. But all it does is give me extra work, I have to use my swiffer wetjet to get rid of the streaks.

My Braava has worked great for the last 3 years. I have had to replace parts here and there. The wheels were expensive but easy to swap out. I use Braava to mop at least once a week, sometimes daily, so I feel like I got my moneys worth out of it. It does a great job at keeping my floors clean with a house full of children and animals. However, it won’t mop anymore. It always says fill the tank…even when it’s full. It’s great when it’s great. Maddening when it’s not! :)

Having tried a number of robotic vacuums over the years I was pretty hesitant in the idea of a robotic mop doing an even passable job on my hardwood floors. Well, let's just say iRobot exceeded those expectations with flying colors. The Braava jet m6 is a sleek, easy to use, mopping wonder. Pros: -Great battery life. Can mop my main floor in one charge (>1000 sq ft). -Always finds its way home to charge -Handles edges great -Complete coverage and leaves a streak free shine (with the disposable pads) -Understands floor transitions such as stairs or carpet -App allows for mapping to create rooms and teach the m6 where you may or may not want to mop. Cons: -Only real negative is that it only comes with two wet and two dry disposable pads and enough cleaner for two moppings. Ordered more disposable online with a larger bottle of cleaner. The iRobot Braava jet m6 just made one step of cleaning my house much easier. I want to try the reusable pads, but they are on back-order at the moment. Overall, iRobot has a winner. So much so I am eyeballing the new S9 vacuum to compliment the m6.

This IRobot Braava is an amazing technological advance. The app control is first rate. The learning technology is terrific. The unit learns the layout of the house and then records it within the app. The user then can control what rooms he/she wants cleaned. The app gets an A+. The unit itself has 2 options, dry clean or wet cleaning. A pad is inserted for the given options. The unit comes with 2 pads of each type. I found that the wet option of the cleaner needs some tweaks. The user can adjust the amount of water that the unit sprays (through the app). Even with that feature I found that the hardwood floor had streaks after wet cleaning. I then lowered the amount of water used in the cleaning and the floor still had streaks. That needs some fine tuning by IRobot. As for the dry cleaning I thought the results were very good. This unit can wet clean or dry clean hardwood and tile flooring. It is a very good product. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because of wet cleaning streaks, but also because the replacement pads are pricey. After a large investment having to pay premium costs for pads can be annoying. I Robot needs to find a balance on that. However, IRobot should be happy with the product they made. This is technology second to none. With a few tweaks and a nod to the customer on the pads this is a grandslam.

This is a great little robot mop that works very well for general light cleaning. If you have heavy pet hair or soil, this may not work as well as you hoped. Unboxing and setup was easy. Downloading and installing the app on iPhone was no trouble. Teaching it the layout takes a couple of times, but it picks it up pretty accurately. Basically this is a robot swiffer. It has a pad, no collection bin, and sprays some solution onto the floor in front of it and sweeps it up with the pad. You basically control everything from your phone and can have it only clean sections of the house when you want. This is a nifty little robot that I would definitely recommend!

STAY AWAY I have had the iRobot i7+ and m6 for over a year with little issue. For the past almost a month or so the iRobots have gone from automated helpers to having to be managed. Almost every cleaning the i7+ robot doesn’t return home because it has to reboot or it gets stuck somewhere. This is the same for the m6 but not as frequent. They don’t have the same map since I have hardwood and carpet so it can’t be a mapping issue. I sent a request through the app for support no response. I called in waited on hold for 53 minutes, finally talk to some one explain the situation and she hangs up. I then emailed support and still no response. If you are looking for home automation that you need to manage every time and horrible customer service this app is for you! UPDATE: After writing previous review “support” responded and arranged a scheduled call. After going through troubleshooting with the rep nothing could be done. They asked for photos so their engineers could take a look. I sent the photos and no response. I am the proud owner of over a $1000 of iRobot home automation equipment all that needs to babysat. STILL AT IT: I did not receive a response so called in again. Spoke to multiple representatives and supervisors and now have so many emails and calls that I don’t remember how many. Most of that communication was driven from my end since follow up is not an iRobot. After all that basically was told my home is too small for the robots. That you need 4 feet in front and 1.5 feet on each side and unless you can provide that the life span of the robot is 1-2 years. So I either remove the furniture from my home and just live with the robots or get rid of the robots and find something that works. I know what I will be doing. WHATEVER YOU DO STAY AWAY FROM IROBOT THEIR PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE A JOKE.
