Awesome machine, only reason for 4 stars is that it can get hung up on stuff that it shouldn't. Overall it has been a great purchase. Very easy set up and does the job that no one wants to do.

Bought this to replace a previous unit we have had for 7 or 8 years. This unit has the ability to program it to run when you want it to run and the new barrier that comes with it doesn't need to be manually turned on, it is on all the time. I change the batteries annually on the barrier. We love the automatic feature of daily sweeping the carpet because we have a long haired cat. this does a good job of keep the hair of the floor. We do have to clean the brush and spindles on weekly basis because of the cat hair. I would recommend this based on our experience.

We've had this for about a month now and so far we love it. Just put it in a room and turn it on and walk away. It gets under beds, tables and anything else with ease and seems to pick up quite a bit of stuff. We liked it so much we bought a second one. Hoping they last, but overall I think if I keep it clean it will. I have already used my air compressor to clean out the entire unit and it seems to clean up well.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it, the cats, not so much. I'd does a good job on both carpet and wood floors. Recommend you check the dirt catcher per often. Easy to operate. Worth the money.

This is our third Roomba! We now have one on each floor of our house - basement, main and upstairs - I love just pushing the button and letting it do it's thing! Only advice I would give is to keep the rollers clean, otherwise it could get messed up a bit.

Easy instructions and easy to use. It goes everywhere it can fit and then some! It surprises me how much dirt it picks up when I am emptying it out.

Let me start by saying I love this robot. There are a few issues that may turn some buyers off, but its exactly what our family was looking for. We have two large dogs and this prevents the need to sweep every single day. This was very easy to program to go off when we are not home and its so easy to just come home to clean floors and empty the bin. Our floor space is a bit larger than iRobot recommends for this model, but its still gets the job done in 3 bedrooms, a living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Only complaints are that you have to have the floor prep'd for roomba to not get stuck (don't miss your hamper with small items like a sock or it will jam the vaccuum). Also, roomba doesn't detect smaller obstacles like a chair or table leg so it will run into them pretty hard before it turns away. Definitely not a deal breaker though, I would highly recommend! Keep in mind our house is all floored so I cannot speak for this item on carpets.

Suction is great. Keeps the floors very clean. Can use on hardwood and carpet and you can set a scheduled time and date for it to start working. Easy and seamless use.

The Roomba 600 is easy to use, and does a good job vacuuming my floors. It is a little noisy, but overall, it sure does help me keep my floors clean.

I highly recommend Roomba to anyone looking to purchase a new vacuum. It is great to set to go off and get the job done while you work on other things. Plus, it even detects ledges so you can use it on an upstairs floor and it won't fall down the steps!

I used the Roomba for my living room which is fairly large and open to the breakfast room, foyer and dining room. In my living room I have multiple surfaces from a thick rug to wood floors. I tried to setup using the electronic device to keep the Roomba to a single area but it just didn't work with the size of room I had. Went under the couches and picked up most of the dust over the area's. The device had a hard time transitioning to the rug from the wood floor. Several times I found it stuck under the breakfast table in a continuous loop bumping into chairs.

This was a father’s day present from my mother, and I am absolutely in love with it. I had hinted about this device for months and fell in love after the first time I used it. I would recommend this gift to anyone interested.

Works great! Gets all the dog hair off the floor. Surprisingly gets under most of my furniture too. Extremely easy to keep the house clean.

This is an exceptional product. We bought this after reading lots of reviews online and decided this model was exactly what we needed. Sparky (when you register this product it will ask for the name you gave your roomba - and you will) does a phenomenal job cleaning our floors. It takes a little while to figure out how to prepare a room/space for cleaning - look for chairs that it will barely fit into (dining room, etc.) and move them outside the cleaning area or else it will spend it's whole time trying to figure out how to get out which it will eventually, but burns up a lot of time trying to get out of a tiny space, look for small cords on the floors and not already elevated above the roomba and consider how big the space is. We have a 3100 sq ft house and have broken it up into 5 cleaning areas for Sparky on 3 different levels and he does great on all the floors. We have a mix of carpet, wood floors and rugs on our wood floors and he does great job on all of them. We do pick up our throw rugs in each space he cleans just to let him vacuum under the rugs and we shake them outside. For short nap rugs it is okay to leave them and it transitions from rug to wood floor without a problem! The instructions says that it "learns" the floor it is on which is true, once it hits a wall or furniture it does remember and then when it approaches the same obstruction it will slow down until it touches it - but it leans the space it is in each time it is in the room. What truly amazes us is that the amount of debris it picks up each time it goes over the same space each time. Using a typical vacuum (which you still need for corners, under short furniture - oh by the way it gets all the way under our bedroom furniture - you don't see how much stuff gets picked up. The easy cleaning system allows you to see exactly how much debris comes up each time. You do have to move the docking station to each space you want it to clean. It does come with one "tower" that the roomba cannot pass which we use to block off some areas and we actually bought another one to help limit the areas to clean and highly recommend you do the same for large areas. This is amazing - if you are considering this - BUY ONE and see for yourself!

It cleans well, especially carpet. If floors are really dirty, you just may have to empty the tank more often than some larger models.

I have had it for a few days now and I just love it. I have a pet and it really makes my life easier to keep my living room clean and dandy.

Very pleased with the Roomba. Great for pet hair and worked better than I expected. My only reason for 4 stars is the dust collector is a bit small and seems to fill quickly.

The sale price was great, but I've always wondered if one of these little guys could really do the job. It works great in a bedroom/closet. Not quite as well in a large open great room/dining room/kitchen area that has to be confusing - part of the problem is it can actually fit under the couch, something I never expected, but once it's under there it can get jammed if it runs over hidden cords. It picks up everything as far as I can tell, and it's easy to empty out after each use. I'm glad I wasn't tempted to spend a lot more!

I need to get a couple more virtual walls..I have too many chairs and obstacles that would,be best to partition off

Product arrived as expected. Easy to set up. It works as described. Does a good job even in our large house with wood, rugs, and tile.
