Oy - we just got a new puppy, I thought she was not going to shed - - but yikes!!! Hair all over. Bought a Roomba to save the dog from going back to the pound (only kidding). This is a life saver - we program it to run daily and it cleans up all hair. Just have to watch out for the ripped toys!

Love this thing! BEST BUY was having a sale so i snatched it up. My house has fake hardwood floors, and carpet. I also have 2 indoor pigs, 1 dog, 3 cats and a parrot. This thing leaves my house spotless daily. Sometimes i run it twice a day. Being able to easily set up times for it to clean automatically is super awesome.

Today,was my first time to used it. It is amazing to watch it go around. I actually bought it on Black Friday. Had been researching them for a while and reading the revenues. Since I have 2 cats that shed continuously. I had to purchase one. On Black Friday Best Buy was offering the 655 for the same price as the 650. Since I had all my Christmas decorations thru out the house plus my christmas tree up.There was no way to start the Roomba at that time. So finally today was the day to check it out and see what it could do. Very pleased with the way it went about vacuuming. It is a little loud but that way you can hear what room it is in. It is just amazing how it knows where to go and how it goes around the baseboards, under the beds. It is still getting use to the floor layout. But will be great to have the floors cleaner. I also realized the less it has to go around the easier it travelers. After it returned to its dock, to recharge. I cleaned out the bin and was very surprised how full it was. What I really like about the Roomba is it is so easy to empty the bin,and easy setting the date, time, and scheduling. Also It came with a great owners manual with complete instructions and pictures. You don't get many pictures in owners manuals these days. Very informative with step by step instructions. Very easy to set up the Roomba. I believe this is going to be the best investment for keeping my floors free from pet hair and dirt. I differently would recommend it to my family and friends. My purchase of the IRobot Roomba was well worth it. One last note, my cats just watched it go around and one was following it. They are scared of the vacuum and run and hide. But not so with the Roomba.

Wow! If I had known what a great appliance the Roomba was, I would have purchased one a long time ago! Our new home has dark, colored concrete, radiant heated floors and lots of dark area rugs of various sizes throughout. The floors especially have a tendency to show dust, plus we have a pet parrot that sheds feathers and dust everywhere. In doing research on robotic vacuums, I saw a number of comments by owners of the iRobot 650 and other models who had trouble with their appliance working properly on dark surfaces. I was a bit concerned, but this model seemed to fit our needs and I figured I could do the work-around others had done if we had an issue. To my pleasant surprise, there have been absolutely no problems so far. The unit is working properly and doing a fantastic job on both the concrete floors and rugs! It even tackles carpet fringe without getting tangled up. One thing in particular that I like is that its low profile lets it clean hard to reach places like under beds and furniture. I am hoping that my little robot continues to due a great job for a long time. Although the parrot isn't real sure about it, I still put it in her room to clean up while she is in her cage and I'm hoping she will learn to ignore it!

Like everyone else, I was a skeptic at first, but I read the reviews and finally decided to give in. I'm a busy woman with many outside of the home duties, and it seemed like I was spending a lot of time at home sweeping the hard wood floors. In a house with three dogs and three cats, you can imagine the accumulation of hair! I am super-impressed with the power of the Roomba. And I feel as though it cleans better than I do! It picks up dirt in corners and goes over spots until they are perfectly clean. The only things I don't like is that I have to clean the brushes after each use, but it's benefits definitely outweigh that problem! It seems to take longer sweeping than I would, but like I said, I feel as though the floor is getting a better clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I decided to get a Roomba because I have a lab and his hair is everywhere. This was the best decision I have made on a vacuum in a long time.

This is the best gift I have ever bought myself. I am very impressed with how well it cleans, it picks up all the cat litter even in the grout. You could actually feel the difference after it cleaned the hardwood floors. Cleaning under heavy furniture that has not been moved in years is a big plus. I do have to untangle hair from it but it is not a big deal considering how well it cleans and what a big time saver it is.

I bought this to keep my one bed room apartment clean since I work in the morning and nights between two jobs. At first I was worried that it wouldn't be worth the money I spent on it but boy was I wrong. Its alot quieter than I expected and picked us alot more than i though it would. With me having allergies its helping me breath better everyday!!! I have it programmed to clean at 4am EST every other day right when I leave for work and I always come back to an clean apartment. I have had some problems with it when I first got the roomba 650 but nothing to major just had to do some rearranging around the apartment (wires and such) and it worked like I charm.

This unit is a very good basic robot cleaner. It saves me a lot of time and energy. Would recommend for sure.

I like it a lot. It's a very good vacuum. Keeps my kids entertained.

I just purchased this Roomba (about a week ago) and I love it. Best invention since sliced bread. I hate to vacuum so this is perfect for me. I have 2 dogs who come in and out as they please, bringing in with them dirt, leaves, twigs and anything else that gets stuck in their fur. This Roomba picks everything up, hair, large pieces of dog food, etc. I am very happy with its performance. I have approx. 1400 sq. ft of living space for it to vacuum and it is amazing how well it cleans it. It is small enough to go under many things, including my kitchen cupboards (I could never fully get my Dyson under them to get the baseboards clean) This model runs about an hour before it needs to recharge, and when it docks I empty the dust bin so it is all ready to begin cleaning again when fully charged. It takes about 2 hours to clean the 1400 sq ft. I lovingly call it "My Butler" and I will never be able to live without a Roomba now that I have one.

Bought this to keep the floors clean daily after getting a dog. Works great to have a basic cleanliness in the house. Doesn't substitute vacuuming altogether but you'll be surprised how much dirt it picks up. Only downside is that it gets tangled up quite easily in cables and bathroom mats.

I bought this vacuum for a small but high traffic space. I literally leave it on every morning. By the time I get back home, it has done its job and is docked for the next day. I clean it out every day or two. I just wish it was a little quieter when I run it on the weekends.

I work Full Time and go to School 4 nights a week. This makes for weekends full of homework and errands and a little family time. Time for house cleaning - gone! And then I found ROOMBA! I researched all the different models/features, willing to make an investment - I just wanted the best one. The reviews for the 650 sold me. I was skeptical because I have a dyson but I am in love with this little guy! My floors are super clean, hardwood and carpet, works great on both. No joke! And it's one less thing I have to worry about. It even leaves those track marks on your carpet so you know it's been in there cleaning away. I love this Roomba - everyone in my life is tired of hearing about it so I'm leaving this review. Get one. No seriously...buy one now

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made, it does "exactly "what it says it does and when this one goes another one will take it's place. If you love vacuuming and don't mind not being able to do only that one task then by all means DON'T BUY THIS GREAT PRODUCT. ..

Not going to write you a book. Forget about how much it costs; this thing vacuums better than I do. It works on all floor surfaces: hardwood, carpet, tile, rugs, etc. In my oversized 2 BR apartment, it takes 30 minutes to get the job done, and then, it parks itself at its dock without me even having to look at it. Very handy - very 2016.

I had previously owned a roomba 770 (it works great and I love it) and wanted to pick up an assistant for it so I wouldn't have to move it upstairs. My Upstairs is basically one big room about 700square feet very few obstacles. I was disappointed and somewhat shocked that this one failed me so miserably. Constantly misses spots of dirt or debris. I don't really know why this one was such a let down but I'd spend the extra money and go with a higher model. If it ever gets to the right spot it does clean well still so I gave it a fair rating.

Loved "Ralphie" from the minute I got him out of the box. Loved how he could get in all the places my normal vacuum could not like under the beds and dressers. With two dogs, my floors will now be clean in between normal weekly vacuums.

This helps keep the cat hair from my two cats under control between more vigorous vacuuming jobs. I love that I can set a timer to run while I'm at work. The cats are scared of it but I hate vacuuming. Now I just need a robot to do my laundry and I'd be all set. It does require some maintenance. The brushes need to be cleaned and the dust bin emptied every other run. The filters also need to be replaced every so often.
