Excellent product for cleaning on floors...very happy with performance

I have two Roomba 650. One up stairs and one down. The one thing is nothing is perfect. But at this time it's the best technology at the price on the market. I just love my Roomba's. I know now what I will be giving for Christmas 2017.

It would do good job on carpet flooring than hardwood flooring. Better consider this product if you have more carpet floor area. One more flaw is It hits the obstacles hard sometimes and often gets scratches on the body.

It was my first iRobot and I loved it. Never gave me any problems.

Does an awesome job in between cleaning sessions. Can be rather loud.

Did not clean corners. Did not maneuver lamp cords well. To tall to go under coffee table. Great suction. Heavy duty. Would do well on carpet but I have all tile floors. I will return

My wife purchased this as a replacement for a Neato Robotics - Botvac D75 and I can sum up the iRobot - Roomba 650 in one word, garbage. If you have dogs, stay clear of this as it will not pick up dog hair or dirt that they bring into your home. I spent countless days at home, starring at this thing do donuts in dirt and move dog hair around my living room instead of picking it up. This thing has even damaged furniture. It slams into things and will grind on my shelves and chip off paint. I've lost count of how many times it has forgotten where to dock. The only thing nice I can say is that it is relatively easy to clean. I'm so glad that I paid for the protection plan because this overpriced piece of fill in the blank is going back to the store this weekend.

I loved my Roomba up until this past month when it showed Charging Error 5 while docked to recharge. I first checked the iRobot website to troubleshoot the problem, did what the site advised to do and still Charging Error 5 came up. I called customer service and the very nice gentleman determined I needed a brand new battery. I bought the new battery and installed it in the Roomba, and I'm still getting Charging Error 5. So, even after all that, including a BRAND NEW BATTERY, the unit won't recharge and it appears there is nothing left to do but toss it. I've owned it approximately 2 years and 2 months. Very disappointed.

I returned this product because it didn't perform as advertised. If you have a house with NOTHING in the floor, it may work for you.

The suction power on the 650 is really poor. I had one of the early models many years ago and this 650 has the same issues that one did. Very poor performance with pet hair and carpet. Sub par performance on hardwood floors because the suction is too weak to pick up dirt. After letting it run for 2 hours, I found myself wishing I would have bought a small hand vac instead and saved myself an hour and 45 minutes.
