Love all the upgrades on this Roomba, however it does not work well with area rugs. It works superb on the hardwood, but does not transition to areas rugs well. Ends up getting caught in the rollers & Roomba drags it all while cleaning. Ended up returning, as it would not play well with my area rugs.

Irobot is a game changer. I have two blue heelers and the shedding problems are a thing of the past. I'll be soon updating to the newer self emptying versions soon and will still use this on another level in my home. Works great. No issues at all.

We've run it 3 times so far and it never makes it back to base before running out of battery. Once it got stuck in the tiled area in front of the fireplace and couldn't get back on the carpet.

What can I say , I like my roomba . You do need to check the brushes and wheels after each use but it’s better than using the real vacuum daily . With 2 dogs and 3 cats it helps so much it’s not funny , just check for accidents before turning it loose and it is great .

Has saved so much time in Vacuuming. You can schedule this to run on certain days of the week and on certain time. This way you can forget about vacuuming. Sometimes the software update comes a little late and roomba gets stuck and forgets to go to the home base.

When we first started using the Roomba 960 there was a noticeable difference. I feel as though the performance has definitely diminished over time. Sadly, Eve's (what my wife named our Roomba through the App) ability to clean up dog hair tumble-weeds has not been very impressive; nor has it been very effective on the area rug in our living room. If you have a substantial amount of pet hair in your home you might consider the 980. We only have one dog and considering the price of this vacuum, I felt it should be adequate.The rollers make cleaning the vacuum up very easy but you will be surprised how dirty this little vacuum can get. We spend about as much time as we would vacuuming cleaning the sensors off. I love the integration with our Amazon Echo Dot (it is slightly buggy, but can work with practice). Overall it has definitely served a purpose. I probably wouldn't spend that much on it again.

At her request, we got my wife a Roomba for Christmas and tried it out. Did a good job of cleaning, but problems were: 1) small dust bin, needed frequent clean-outs, 2) where area carpet met hardwood floor, actually tore out a lot of carpet fibers.

Saves a lot of time and did a great job with pet hair.

I have run it twice a day since Christmas. I now keep my house roomba ready. I run it while at work & it is recharged and ready to go again when I get home. If it runs out of charge, it puts itself back on charging station. Love that it shows me where it cleaned while I am away through the app.

I am elated with my Roomba 960 purchase! I have 2 dogs and it was difficult to sweep as the hair would just move. The Roomba allows you to multi-task while this machine gets all the hair for an easy mopping experience. It’s awesome. The only drawback is the small debris collection bin.

I've only used the roomba once so far. It was on the noisy side, as I expected it would be, but fun to watch. It covered a lot of ground. While it didn't leave the place spotless, it made a good difference and covered hardwood floors and carpets equally well.

We turn on the roomba once a day when we're not home, I was skeptical about this self vacuuming robot for a long time. But now I am more amazed than my wife I have no idea where this thing finds all this dust even after self vacuuming and washing the floors. Just amazing

We have been using the Roomba 960 for two to three weeks and generally run it three times a week. At first it was very surprising how much dust and dirt this thing finds. We are still working with it do cover multiple room but in general it does a good job. We are very happy with the decision to purchase.
