It sucks up rugs so you have to remove them or follow it around, also if you have pets ...you will be following it around or empty canister which sometimes doesn’t really even have anything in it. I returned item. If I have to follow it around I might as well just vacuum and be done much quicker.

First time using this electronic device and we love it.

2 years later: This robot had to be replace by the company within the first year of ownership because it would not work correctly. After numerous months of shipping the iRobot between the company and us, to include shipping a new battery, the company finally sent a whole new robot and base that worked for about 3 months before it started acting up again by losing connectivity, randomly not emptying itself like it's supposed to, and the robot just "docking itself" in the middle of the room. I followed the cleaning guidance as directed and reset/reboot the iRobot numerous times and this one still does not perform like it is supposed to. We are now waiting on a new base for almost 4 months from Roomba.

Makes my life so much easier. I wish I would have gotten one sooner.

This Roomba has exceeded our expectations. Very dependable.

I bought this because it had the best reports from several sites (including Good Housekeeping), but I am returning it tomorrow. It worked normally at first, then the second time it ran, it couldn't even locate "home". It wonders around aimlessly searching for it (which you can see on the app), but never finds it. After 15 minutes of this, I finally manually turned it off and docked it. I'll stick with my upright vacuum because it's less frustrating.
