Customers are saying
Customers love the Roomba 960's cleaning performance, especially on carpets and hardwood floors, and appreciate its ease of use. Many find it effective for pet hair removal, and while some mention the noise level, others find it acceptable. However, customers frequently cite navigation issues and a small dustbin as drawbacks, along with concerns about battery life.

Too many flaws for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love this thing, but alas, I can't. It is very useful when it does what it is supposed to, but very frustrating when it does not. If this device was several hundred dollars cheaper, I would give it a better review, but it's very expensive, so I expect better consistency. The biggest surprise/disappointment for me was the fact that it can't go over a rug that has any black in it. For the money, this machine cannot differentiate between the color black and a "cliff." That is a ludicrous design flaw. How many accent rugs out there have black in them? As a result, it will find it's way onto the rug and then get stuck from fear of "falling off a cliff." You can cut pieces of paper and tape them to sensors to get around this until it looses the paper. Second of all, it has no idea how to navigate around a recliner. It always goes under it and will drive forward until it can't go any further. Instead of its program just backing itself back out, it tries to raise itself up to clear an obstacle it things is under it.... Very stupid AI again. As a result of these two flaws, it gets stuck every single day and has let to me just not using it. I have a $700 dollar paperweight. So very very frustrating. When I called support they said it was just the way it was designed....

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It can't keep up with my West Texas sand that blows in. Nor the goat heads or grass burrs

Does a decent joe of cleaning
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The suction is great, but the battery life is okay. It doesn’t clean well and my downstairs is all hard. If you have to swipe afterwards it’s not doing it’s job.

Wouldn’t connect to wifi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, like it says. Couldn’t connect to WiFi right out of the box. iRobot was very easy to deal with, and they are sending me a new unit, will update when the new unit gets here.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the vacuum works great it WILL NOT connect to 5G. You would think there equipment would be able to connect with anything.....

Still figuring it out
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it just about a week ago and I’m still tying to figure out whether I like it or not. It’s done it’s job so far but I’d like to explore the features more.

Disappointing and mediocre vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing we noticed is that it gently bumps into everything. We tested it by placing crumbs or dirt directly in front of it, but we noticed that it missed a lot. We really wanted to like the roomba and the price was good (it was on sale), but unfortunately, we found that a quick sweep of the room was way more effective. We returned it and my wife bought a Dyson stick vacuum instead that she’s obsessed with.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It costs $500, still cannot offer feature that clean specific room. It stuck here and there even though i cleared out everything for him.

Regret this purchase
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second robovac and even though it cost three times as much as my first, I don't like it. - The height is not great for getting under furniture - It doesn't do a great job in climbing onto thick mats - Pretty much every cleaning job ends in failure - Sensors are way too sensitive in declaring a full bin I know there are more expensive vacs out there, but I consider this a lot of money. I don't feel like I got what I paid for.

Loud, delicate sweeper
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After less than a year of VERY LIGHT use (average of twice per month), the plastic clip holding the filter in place broke. There's no way to replace the flimsy filter door without buying a whole new canister. Further, the extractors, filters, and sweeper brush all need frequent replacing making maintenance costs on this vacuum similar to that of a car (especially if you follow the manufacturer's recommendations). Likewise, the vacuum has continued to get louder with age. It occasionally squeals and otherwise makes more noise than it originally did. The vacuum also can't get everything, you'll still need spot clean even if you were to run it every day. With maintenance costs and the fact that basic components (like the filter door) break with no easy replacement, it'd probably be cheaper to just pay a maid service... And they'd clean far better than this thing can.

Not so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed. The first day I owned it, it fell down the stairs. The vacuum plugs up to fast and you constantly have to clean out the vacuum so the debris actually goes into the bin. I've owned several different brands and the Neato and Shark are the best robot vacuums out there.

Cleaned good, but scratched hardwood
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Roomba cleaned our house good, but I noticed the hardwood was scratched. We went back to the Dyson V8 Absolute with soft brush roller.

Can't handle long or dog hair
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry I bought this in November, don't think it made it half a year before it refused to run and gave me constant error codes. Finally took it apart after months of non functioning and nothing is blocking anything. Will try to follow up with manufacturer. Do not recommend.

Works fine but expensive for no reason
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is expensive for the features that are not worth. Cheaper models and other products out there does the same job for less.
