I decided to upgrade my S9+ for a J9+ Combo but we had so many problems. The first one we got wouldn’t detect it needed water, the second one has a lot of trouble docking on the base and often cannot recognize it’s base in the app. I would recommend a different brand.

The first one we bought was replaced due to it not ever completing a vacuum. The replacement works a little better but we’re constantly getting error messages and the mop will never refill on its own therefore the only time it mops is when we manually fill it. Customer service is not responsive at all. This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made!

Good robot

On contacting support, they recommended several irrelevant troubleshooting steps. I sent them a picture of the missing contact and now they want several more irrelevant photos of the brushes, cleaning heads, caster wheel, etc.

It has stopped mopping and I have to mail it in. It won’t pick up pet fur. Every single one of my iRobot products has been a massive broken failure. This is a scam company. Stay away or you too will lose $1,000 on a product that stops working after just weeks.

I bought it and had it shipped in. The very first time used it didn’t work right. Call in to iRobot and they couldn’t figure out why. Took in back and ordered a second one. Same issue as the first. Took that one back for a refund. Ended up setting up my old robot and my mop.
