Q: Does the front facing camera mean it has poop detection?
A: It has "Obstacle Avoidance". As long as its turned on it should avoid poop/wires/shoes/blankets/etc. However when it in Mapping Mode, to learn the layout of your space, it will not avoid obstacles.
A: The mopping works pretty good for individual rooms. If you have a threshold, you might want to make sure there is a no-mop zone between rooms on the electronic map. Other words, place a no-mop zone over the threshold so the robot picks up the mop when it approaches the threshold and places it back down after the no-mop zone.
A: Yes. We use google to give our Roomba a voice command to do a particular room. We can also command Roomba to do a particular room from the app.
Q: Is it noisey
A: Yes, it seemed to be way louder then my j7 and I have had nothing but problems with the j9 I do not recommend buying this model
A: Hello M, The robot does both at the same time and automatically detects the floor type it is on. When the robot detects carpet during it’s cleaning job, it will lift and tuck the mopping pad away. Please check out the following article and scroll down to the model, and you will find an Owner's guide and Quick start guide for the robot with detailed information regarding its functionality and for our other robot models as well - https://homesupport.irobot.com/s/article/843

A: Replacing the bin isn't gonna do you no good, next week it will just be something else. I have had mine 6 months and have had nothing but problems with it. I robot has sent me out several replacements and none of them has worked.
