worked great for about a month and now is just a $700 paper weight that roams the apartment. It does not work. Period. It will half heartedly clean your carpet leaving pet hair EVERYWHERE in big tangled balls and then fails to go back on its dock after taking the most convoluted way back to it's dock it can find. Sometimes it will say that it needs to empty while being right next to the dock, then go to the other side of the apartment, fiddle around in a corner, and then go all the way back to the dock where it then tries for 10-15 minutes to get on the dock before failing and requiring assistance. I've tried changing the dock location, resetting the robot multiple times, cleaning the dock and robot, no dice. Save yourself the hassle and go with one of the cheaper models or buy a regular vacuum and spend 20 minutes vacuuming yourself, you'll wind up spending less time and get a better clean if you just vacuum yourself than you will trying to get this piece of garbage to work.

Its marketing content everywhere says it has "10x Suction", while 960 series has "5x suction". As an owner of both i7+ and 960, I can tell this marketing content is completely BS and misleading. If 960 series suction power is 5x, then i7+ suction power should be only 2x from my experience. I use this robot for both hardwood floor and carpet, its performance on hardwood floor is just ok, but its job for carpet is much much much worse than the 960. I have to let my i7+ clean twice, both with "two pass" enabled, to achieve the same result with my 960 in single run. The only advantage of i7+ is that it's quiet, but on the contrary, I think it's quiet because it doesn't have much suction power. As a fact, I cannot feel any air flow coming out from this robot when it's working, but my 960 blows out air as I can feel it 3 feets away.

The vacuum picks up fine debris and hairs. It works well for those type of debris.

It does the job well. I have two golden retrievers. It may fill up sooner than expected, but these dogs also shed tremendously right before winter and before summer.

Wife loves it. Simple enough. App is great. Thing is quiet. More than I thought it would be. Dogs leave it alone. Should’ve bought years ago. Self empty function is great. Never even mess with it.

Love the self cleaning feature. Went to a different brand and came back. iRobot is the best in class

While it does get stuck on occasion and sometimes has docking issues, I love being able to program this an never have to worry about vacuuming anymore.

I love the convenience, it cleans well most of the time. Sometimes it gets stuck on the rugs or if it the room does not have enough light.

Battery runs down before it can finish, it is because it keeps vacuuming the same area multiple times!

The i7 is a great unit for hard surface floors, it does alright on low level carpet but not the best leaves a lot of pet fur in left over.

Because last time my other purchase from Best Buy was damaged in shipping, I wanted to pick my robot vacuum up from store this time. Unfortunately, the box was damaged from outside, and when I opened it was even worse- i robot had smashed out of box! Now, I need to return it. Too much time and effort is wasted. I think it is fault of both iRobot as designer of the box and Best buy as retailer.

Roomba is weird, but in a good way! Have had fun training the vacuum the last couple of days and we have set up the rooms. Looking forward to selecting certain rooms for Roomba to clean.

Coming from an iRobot Roomba 960, this was a great upgrade. It's more efficient, quieter, and has more features. The vacuum will cost more to maintain now that the base station has non-reusable bags.

Overall this little vacuum cleaner works pretty good. It does not get everything off the floor especially not a long edges along the walls.

Item was returned without being out of the box. Online videos of the preparation that our house would require to use it, made it seem not worth the effort.

I really like this model. We got this for our upstairs area. Packed with features and very reliable. I would certainly recommend this model to anyone.

The vacuum works well but is a pain in the butt to get programmed correctly. Then having to find it after it gets stuck under a chair is fun also.

Worked good until they did update now it gets confused and shuts off in the middle of the house.

We have a short haired dog and mostly hardwood floors, this works perfectly for doing a couple days a week in between cleans.

My wife loves her gift. She named it Herb and she is thrilled that someone now listens when she tells them to vacuum. Would definitely recommend!
