The brushes and rollers aren’t very durable and need to be replaced often. The Alexa integration works well but has typical Alexa issues.

Unsatisfied customer with I7Roomba
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked beautifully the first 1 1/2 weeks, then I kept receiving notifications from the app that the bristleheads needed to be cleaned. I had to stop vacuuming the other side of the house just to see if it had started working again. I did it three times. So at the end I was very frustrated with the item I returned it. It is an expensive item, for it to be faltering numerous times. It’s not worth it. One of the BestBuy employee also mentioned he returned his and that he wasn’t satisfied with the product itself. I thought about upgrading, but decided not to in the end.

The first time we used the roomba it was vacuuming perfectly fine. The second time (the next day) we turned the vacuum on it would only vacuum for a few seconds and said error 26. We cleaned the vacuum and even changed the filters and tried multiple times to get it to clean the floors but it kept telling us error 26 (insufficient air flow). We returned the product.

Started to have little issues here and there like the rugs folding and it getting stuck, the small brushes getting tethered together with hair, and after a while didn’t clean as good.

Other than the having the Robot Vacuum feature, I believe the 900 Series would have worked out just fine. I believe a laser feature would work much better than their cameras.

Poor reliability

Now it wont recharge on any of my 3 chargers. And wont respond to button presses. It appears iRobot but off more than they could chew focussing on the fancy self emptying and not the basics of battery and return to base. Sad. Could be a good product.

My hope was to not have to vacuum as often but it was not to be. The problem I had was Code 26 which is letting you know the bin is full. This occurred during the third mapping (mapping of the floor plan). However, the bin was empty. After watching youtube videos on Roomba maintenance, I finally was able to clear the error code 26, but it came back after only vacuuming half the area. The bin was not full. Sadly I returned the Roomba i7.

Stuck on empty bin after two uses

My old one was probably close to 10 years old and on its last legs. Having this type of vacuum on wood floors is almost magical as sweeping just throws the dust back onto every surface in the room. Dry dusters often will push small hard pieces across the floor scratching the finish. With both dogs and cats i needed a hand! I made sure that everything was cleared beefier turning the vacuum on even moving furniture as my cat has this collection of jingle balls that seem to wind off every where. I thought the run time was a little short before the unit returned to empty its bin but figured this must just be more efficient. That is until it went back to empty its bin for the third time and gave up. It goes to the tower and gives it three hard tries before it gives up and a "Dirty you lose" time plays and a robotic voice tells me to empty the bin. I have wasted the first bag which was about 1/4 full. Can't find anything stuck in the tower or the bottom of the unit. Will update once issue is resolved.

Prefer the Roomba with no auto dirt disposal

I much prefer the Roomba without auto dirt disposal.
