I have an older model and bought this model because of all the ease hype. But after running it over the thanksgiving holiday it did not have the same suction power of older models. It seemed to just push diebris around. It is quieter than older models and app is great too but poor cleaning power. After running it 5 times the bag was empty. I returned it for full refund.

It worked really well for a couple months. Then it threw an error code and would start but would stop within 10 seconds. We have tried all the recommended remedies and now are waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. I highly suggest reading the reviews. Our other Roomba still works well. We bought this one because we have a dog and the other one filled up too often. They are a great time saver when it works.

If you love factory resets and constant connection issues...getting stuck just as much as the old ones etc....then this robot is for you! I have a brand new router, fast wifi etc. and consider myself tech savvy. For the price it should work better. Its not smart enough to not get stuck under couches etc. This is my 4th roomba model and likely my last.

Terrible i have to keep picking it up every 5 minutes does a bad job sweeeping

After purchasing new @ Bestbuy and only having it for six months, in the last two months continual issues with auto dirt disposal just not working and having to do it by hand. At first this unit performed beautifully and was a great time saver for a single dad who does a 65 hour work week. Ive spoken to IRobot text support a few times now via the same issue of the auto dirt disposal not emptying the bin... I've become frustrated now that no matter how often I lean the unit with magic dry erasure (as suggested by Irobot tech) my Roomba has the same issue with each use. Originally this unit was 750.00 to 900.00 if Im not mistaken and for that I would expect better and especially not even a year old. As I'm away allot for work, I like the feature of the cleaner being able to empty the dirt at the end of a cleaning session... Not happy and would like to not have to empty the unit by hand with each use and not have to call tech support again via the same issue. For the money, this unit has issues. I would like to find another self cleaning unit that performed better and gave me more of a break lol.

Used it for 50 minutes and got several errors 8. Called customer support but could not help, they said I need to replace a module, It is going back! I have had a Roomba 880 for 6 years now and never had this kind of problems. Yes their navigation is not great but their quality is unmatched by this new ones!

This product has been worthless since first time using it. It does not clean carpet at all. It also has no pattern it follows to clean floor and often misses entire sections of the room. Lastly, this thing goes off beaping(rebooting) in the middle of the night for no reason waking up our entire family!

Wanted to love this, but technology is just not there when you have hardwood floors, thick area carpeting and lost of furniture. Didn’t work for us.

Does a good job, but hardly maintenance free. Needs cleaned monthly and gets tanged up often. Not sure I could recommend it.

This is my second Roomba. It’s great for pet hair. However, this one gets stuck at least two times per day. My first unit rarely got stuck.

I am having problems with mine on the mapping. Been difficult since I bought it. I didn’t realize that they only gave 2 weeks to return. If it doesn’t remap , I will have to see about the 1 year warranty. I always purchase geek squad and thought that I did in this but it isn’t on my re riot. I have only had it 3 months. So check out throughly the first eek if purchase. I am not too happy.

Absolutely the BIGGEST waste of money! The sweeper has worked a few times, but after that it either won't charge or won't empty itself, or won't work. This is the second type of this kind of sweeper. I thought by spending a LOT more money that it would work. I would love to get it back to you as soon as possible. I feel foolish for thinking that it would work.

it is a very good machine but the only thing that the when you map out the apartment it doesn't clean all the places.

I gave this vacuum a week and returned it. Sure, it will automatically LIGHTLY vacuum one level of your home. But it got stuck often and you STILL HAVE TO USE A REAL VACUUM to get up set in dirt! I just could not bring myself to spend $1,000 on a glorified automatic duster that gets stuck on a sock. Especially when you consider that you can get a top of the line, not automatic Shark for $300 to $350

We needed up upgrading to the 9 which we prefer. This is great for the value but just didn’t do enough for us.

It is extremely loud and missing big sections while vacuuming. Not worth $800.

It seems to be working well. Have only had it a bout a week, but easy to set up and control. Seems to be mapping the house. It was meticulously going around the dining room chairs and table, so that was impressive. My only negative is that it’s much louder than expected, especially on tile vs carpet.

Did not meet my expectations so I had to return it. It does the job alright but not as perfect as I thought it would be.

When this is charged it’s really a terrific device and I’m sure I will enjoy it once I exchange it for one that operates correctly. There are two things that are wrong with this brand new item: one. The electrical cord does not fit snugly into the input so that it is constantly running out of power too. The dust does not empty out from in the bin in the robot to the stand- a huge liability.
