I have had my i7+ for about 10 days now and this was my first ever Roomba. This thing is fantastic. All of the previous reviews about issues with the app were concerning, however mine updated and works with absolutely no issue. I think they may have updated the app at this point. I have access to selecting which rooms in my house to clean and have complete control over all aspects inside the app. Now for the part people really care about, this Roomba does exactly what it should, keeps my house clean on a schedule and empties itself. We have a 90lb lab/husky/rottweiler mix and he sheds like no tomorrow. This vacuum handles all of his hair left around the house on our hardwood floors with absolute perfection. I have mine set to clean at 11am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and it usually sends me a notification about 12:15pm telling me that the job was complete. I would say this is well worth the money I spent on it. I have absolutely loved coming home to a clean house and can't believe I haven't bought a Roomba before. The self emptying feature is quite loud, but it only lasts for about 10 seconds, so just be aware of that. The ONLY complaint I have, and I'm not even sure if I would call it a complaint, is that I didn't realize you couldn't re-use the bags in the self emptying chamber. The bags are said to be good for 30 vacuums, but you will then need to replace it once it is full. An extra one comes with the vacuum, but after that you will need to purchase more.

Seems to do a good job. We have had it for awhile and I feel it still has issues with mapping. It will go between rooms several times. I’m still hoping I will love it because it is nice to come home to clean floors. This is our first robot so I’m still trying to be positive.

This was given as a gift. Initial setup went well, but ultimately a part had to be replaced for it to work properly, which it did. (Replacement part came promptly.) Recipient very pleased. Arrived in only the product box which showed signs of rough handling.

I've owned 2 previous iRobot vacuums and recently replaced a 900 series with the i7. It's a nice upgrade. This one is quieter, does a better job cleaning, consistently re-charges and completes cleanings, unlike the 900 series, the base allows for consistent docking, which, with previous models, the base was too dainty preventing the vacuum from docking, etc. Allowing the vacuum to empty itself is great! (and, in my opinion, long overdo). While it wasn't time consuming to empty the older versions it defeated the purpose of a robotic vacuum. Only negative is the cost of the unit and, especially, the bags. At least make the bags cheaper.

It works great. Does everything it said it would. No complaints yet.
