Works better than advertised, easy setup and runs flawlessly.

We upgraded from the 980. While it was a great robotic vacuum cleaner, the new i7+ trumps it 100%. Quieter and more efficient, this was a great upgrade. We really appreciate the engineering that went into creating a self-emptying vacuum! Great job, iRobot!

This was a great roomba when I had it only when I got the latest version did I realize some major upgrades that came with the new one. Do yourself a favor and just get the latest version. But if you just get this one it works well and I had no significant issues with it. The design and ease of the new one is just better overall.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter.

I didn't ever think I would use the word quiet with a vacuum, but this one is eerily quiet. It goes about cleaning the house in the wee hours of the morning without waking anyone. The upright vacuum base is however as loud as a full size, so eventually you'll know it was busy. Navigation was stellar until a software update made the unit suddenly forget where it was in the house.

The Roomba I7 is a good investment. It is easy to set up and manages, hardwood, carpet, and rugs with ease. The mapping worked well and it is easy to create sessions for different rooms of the house to be cleaned.

I read some so-so reviews before I purchased the i9S, so I was a little skeptical. After having it for a few days, it's the best decision I made to purchase it. We have hardwood floors and rugs throughout our house. My previous Roomba had trouble going from floor to carpet. This one sails through our house not getting hung up at all. LOVE IT!

So who would think that a vacuum cleaner could draw such reviews. It is amazing where technology has taken us. The I7+ is worth every penny. Cleans, empties itself, recharges and keeps going back until it knows it is done. It has replaced a Dyson and a Shark for most vacuuming duties. Cats aren't crazy about it but they'll get over it.

Only lasted about five years. Started having connectivity issues.

Overall, it was a good vacuum cleaned decently, it takes a while to map out the area of the home and it kept missing to map my sons room which was odd. Also the emptying of the vacuum was a lot louder than I had anticipated- I ended up returning it. After we did a last clean with the iRobot my husband decided to grab our Shark vacuum and go over the same area the iRobot had just gone over and to my disbelief the Shark stand up vacuum we had ended up picking up a lot more - hubby takes the win with Shark on this one- sorry iRobot I was rooting for you, I really was.

seems to be good for floors but not for carpets. I`ve tried many times but he was carrying dust to carpet instead of vacuum

Works great! Can detect stairs without a problem. It is a bit noisier than I thought it would be. Still, I love it!!!

This is our first iRoomba. My husband and I are pleased with our purchase. We are impressed with the way it performs. Quite a marvel. The iRobot can clean more than one floor.

Mapped the house well but it does not pick up dust.

My daughter love her irobot! She has cats so it helps alot. She loves how easy it is to setup cleaning times to keep cat hair off the floor.

The roomba broke after the first year luckily I had protection on it.

We have three….Ramona, Rhoda, Rhonda. They all work beautifully at different houses and on different floors.
