I purchased this item. It worked for several months. Then it stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer. They sent a replacement part. I installed the replacement part. It worked for a few weeks then the same issue. At this point, I wanted a refund (The item was still under the one-year warranty). Amazon indicated that it was past the 30 day return time. Therefore, they would not let me do a return and refund. iRobot indicated that since it was purchased from Amazon that they could not do a return and refund. So...the moral of the story is, if you purchase it you are stuck with it after 30 days. Good luck. The manufacturer is sending a replacement robot. However, despite the fact that the replacement robot is a new item it maintains the warranty from the old robot. So, new robot but only about 6 months left on the warranty. Good luck.

I am excited to use it however, there were not instructions included to tell me how to operate it! I can not give it a review until I am able to actually use it. How do I go about getting operating instructions?

It doesn't go back to its station, runs out of battery, and stops working, I need to carry it back to its station.

Slowly realizing that many of the vacuum reviews I watched/ read were likely sponsored. After one month is a small1 bedroom apartment this thousand dollar investment is falling apart. First, there is only one external spinner meaning your roomba needs to take 2 passes to clean both sides of anything well. the actual width of the rollers is narrow so the likelihood of all dirt and debris getting sucked up is limited. Replacing the filter monthly for a pet home makes this "bagless" vacuum comes with an added monthly cost regardless. My stand up has a washable filter and is bagless. Expensive up front, performance decreases rapidly, costly to maintain. Wish I could return

This vaccum is not worth the money you paid for it. It worked great the first 60 days and now it can't complete a full cleaning without receiving a RED light to empty the bin. I bought the power base so I wouldn't have to empty the bin daily. The app provides helpful cleaning and maintenance tips, but even after cleaning the bin, robot, and power base..... You will get a red light on the robot. I guess I shouldn't be surprised because we have a bravaa and it is a piece of junk too.

Doesnt do well with dog hair and always gets stuck and can never find its way home

You will love it until it breaks! My self/cleaning charging station started giving me problems about 6 months in and totally failed at 11 months. Every time I called support my case had to be "reviewed" and they would call me back. Well of course no one ever calls back! Finally after a month of a dead robot they sent me the "basic" charger. I am still trying to get the automatic one replaced. Very frustrated, would not buy again.

My first robot vacuum and it's defective on arrival. It connects to the network, updates, and responds to empty-bin command. But it never moves or turns its wheels. It has 'undocking problem' fresh off the box. It does not respond to any button pressing when it's not docked either. Best Buy has no stock for exchange, so Roomba offers to ship a replacement. I'll see how the replacement goes, but I can't recommend Roomba to anyone based on this experience.

I travel often for weeks at a time. I bought this precisely because of the self emptying feature. I ordered bags in October, but was surprised to see that iRobot cancelled the order. I called in, and they said "too bad" No bags until at least Mid December. Sadly I have to return it because I dos not work as advertised. Terrible customer service from iRobot.
