This is my 2nd robot vacuum but a huge upgrade over my previous one (not an Roomba). I have extremely please with my I7+ model. It picks up much better around and over our rug and im not constantly cleaning and emptying the dust bin. We have 2 dogs (and one's a husky... if you know, you know!) and this vacuum is a champ so far.

had the 960 previously with no complaints other than having to empty after each use, bought this and moved the 960 upstairs. the 7550 is a much more improved version not only is the self emptying robot so much nicer once you let it map your house you can setup different rooms and keep out zones. you can schedule your different rooms for different days so you don't have to let it run for an hour at a time. i have mine set to clean the living room and kitchen on Monday and Thursday. the hallway, laundry room and bathroom on Tuesday and Friday. Then the whole house on Sunday. The nice part is if it detects the bin is full it will go empty itself and resume the cleaning. i also have it enabled through alexa and that works extremely well. you just tell Alexa to have i robot have alfred start cleaning or clean specific room ( thats the name i gave the 7550, Rosie is the name of our 960 )i happen to catch it on sale for 549 which is a steal for this. i highly recommend this vacuum to everybody

A purchase I will not regret! I waited til cyber Monday because I knew it would go on sale. Easy to set up and use. It took about 5-6 runs for her to map my downstairs. I was able to label the rooms and keep her out certain rooms. I use her every other day. Eventually she will go upstairs once we get wood floors. Before you start her up, make sure there are no cords, crayons, food or liquid on the floor. Very happy !

We purchased a non-Roomba robot vacuum 2 years ago. It could not handle our floor layout. I read several reviews of the Roomba i7+ and the i9+ and decided to purchase the i7+. We cannot be more pleased! With a new puppy, we had to vacuum often and with the i7+, the chore is done well! I learned to use the "non-cleaning" mapping mode first, as it discovers the floor plan much quicker without cleaning as it goes. To customize the Roomba map, It is easy to move the room dividers and name the rooms in the Roomba app. Now we tell Alexia, "Alexia, tell Roomba to vacuum the Master Bedroom." Away it goes, returns when done, and empties the robot canister. It does a great job cleaning and we are surprised at how much it picks up. We found the vacuum bags in the base last about 2 weeks. I certainly would recommend the i7+!

Overall its above the avg. Easy to schdule. Cleans carpets and hardfloor. Requires improvements. Somes times its throws dust to corners and leaves dust when there is up and downs(hardwood to carpets and vice-versa). Makes lot of sounds when empting the dust.

I have 3 labs, they shed. While I love the convenience of not having to constantly empty the bin, Roomba i7+ doesn't perform well on carpeted floors. Clumps of debris (dirt & dog hair) were left behind. The vacuum doesn't always find its way back to the docking station & runs out. My house is a long rancher & I have it run twice a day. The app is great at relaying information. iRobot customer service is very good. They aren't sure why the vacuum is leaving the debris behind. They are sending me new rubber brushes, I hope this can solve this problem. We are also moving the station to different areas to see if that is better. I clicked the "would refer" button. There isn't one for "unsure".

This iRobot I7 has trouble cleaning all areas that it’s supposed to it gets lost, and it never hardly ever empties the bin on its own I think it’s way overpriced

Once I got my house mapped, the robot does a good job. I received error messages while in training mode, and trying to find what they meant and how to resolve them was like working my way through the levels of a video game. There is no comprehensive users manual on the iRobot app. One must navigate to the frequently asked questions, and enter keywords or phrases and hope the subsequent search brings up the information you’re seeking. My biggest disappoint with this unit is that it presses against my white baseboards so hard when it’s cleaning that it leaves black streaks along the entire length and even around corners. If not for the issue with the baseboards and the lack of a users manual, this would be a 5 star rating.

Where has this been my whole life?! Maps and learns your house and cleans very well. Great for dusty wood floors with pet hair that need to be cleaned daily. Have not tried upstairs on carpets yet but it has done great with my area rugs.

We have a very large house, the square footage on first floor is around 4,500 +/-. We found the limit of the mapping ability of the i7+ as it never completely mapped our bedroom and gave an error on the third training run. It took 3 days of training runs for Alice to build a map. We initially let it clean and it was taking forever. Once I figured out how to have it train only and not clean, it took 7+ hours over 3 days. One thing to be aware of, It cannot handle darkness so unless you leave lights on, it can only clean during the day. We live in a remote area, so not a lot of light after dark. Because of the large area, I don't have it on a schedule, I have it do a cluster of rooms every day although now that the house is mapped I suspect it could handle everything. We plan on getting two more units, one to divide downstairs area and another for upstairs that is only around 1,000-1,200 Sq ft. The waste bin was the biggest seller for us as we are not always there in the winter so it can still clean and we don't have to worry about the on board dust bin filling. Definitely recommend this vacuum. Now have to decide if the i9+ is worth the extra $400.. hmmm.

I got it on a Black Friday deal which is one of the best deals ever and thanks for Best Buy for that. Coming to use and quality I would definitely recommend Romba i7+.

I hate vacuuming, I have dog, so it’s a necessary evil. Now, I just activate Rupert and he does the cleaning for me. I ,ick myself for not getting one sooner.

This Roomba is an excellent machine. It picks up the dirt with ease and sucks up dog hair without issue. It keeps the floor very clean with little dirt.

This vacuum does an excellent job of cleaning. It picks up all the cat hair our 2 cats leave behind. It empties itself and goes home to charge the battery. Quality is excellent. Very pleased.

Really love this i7 Roomba. It does a great job of vacuuming entire house plus empties the dirt itself. We have named our Roomba the “Magic Turtle”. I bought this item online from Best Buy due to extra warranty they offered. It was the easiest purchase I’ve ever made. Got to choose the time I wanted to pickup; plus they even brought it outside & loaded it in the trunk of my car. Perfect- no contact.

We really like this iRobot but we only gave it 3 stars because we have to pick up after it. It leaves piles of pet hair at some of the turns rather than picking it up. See photo. The photo was take on the 2nd of two back to back runs. Nice thing is since they are piles it’s easy to pick up but I would have expected the hair to go into the bin.

Absolutely love my Ruumba (and surprisingly so do my cats). I have hard wood floors and when there’s dirt and I can feel it, it pushes my buttons. But since I’ve had this ruumba i haven’t felt any dirt and I’ve had it for about a month now !! I would highly recommend getting this one. The price is definitely worth the quality of this vacuum !

Great for the thorough vacuum cleaner, self empty, and charger. I have the i7. The more often he (Roomba) cleans my home, the faster he can accomplish the job with great results. The app. is good, not great. I would not change or return this purchase. I have more time for other cleaning and shoppi g now. Goes on deep area rugs and under furnature. Get around every kitchen chair leg 180 degrees.
