Great vacuum for pet hair on tile, area rugs and carpet. Smart maps are so helpful to be able to chose certain rooms during the week. Love it!

This is the second one of these I have purchased. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. I’ve tried many different robot amodels over the years. This one has by far been the best and the most hands off. Runs around by itself and rarely ever gets stuck, and when it’s done at parks itself and empties itself. I don’t have to empty the vacuum unit except for maybe every six weeks. And i can either schedule cleanings or tell it to start with my Alexa. Five star experience.

I had a Shark previous to purchasing this Roomba. Shark Robot didn't work correctly after about 6 months. You can't go wrong with the Roomba (if you can afford it). I absolutely love the bags in the disposal system, no more dust blowing everywhere. I would recommend this robot if you are looking for a self-emptying robot. Parts are easy to find and inexpensive. I can't wait to try the imprinting mop version. Love the concept and the intelligence mapping. AAA++++

Never thought I would buy a robot vacuum. But here I am, writing a review for one. My Dyson died, so it was time to get a new vacuum. I was originally going to buy a new Dyson, but decided to look at robot vacuums. I’m quite impressed with this Roomba i7. The setup was quite easy. All that’s required is the iRobot app. I recommend using Training mode the first time using it to map your floor plan. As it can take a good hour or more depending on your square footage. As far as how easy it is to use. It’s almost fully autonomous. Setup the schedule in the app and that’s it. If you decide to get the base station for automatic dirt disposal, you’ll need to empty the bag occasionally. Some people complain about the noise of the vacuum and automatic dirt disposal. But... it’s a vacuum. Vacuums make noise. There are a couple of complaints. It’s quite difficult emptying the disposal bag if you’re trying to reuse it. I recommend getting a wire coat hanger and using it to pull out lint/hair/etc. The other complaint is about the apps mapping feature. It doesn’t seem very accurate. After 10 runs and updating the floor map each time, it seems like the map is quite erratic. And when you update the map from a previous run, it will say that any scheduled runs will be removed. So each time you update the map you have to re-setup your schedule. Which becomes annoying. Overall I really like this little dude, despite some drawbacks. You get to name it during setup, and oddly, it adds character to it. It’s also amazing to always come home to a vacuumed home.

The suction power is lacking, but the mapping tech seems to work very well.

Best purchase in yr 2020. Cyber Monday sale was better than Black Friday sale. The price dropped by $200 and I had to repurchase and return the previous order (with the new box). It makes my life so easy and the fact that I don't have to even watch it while getting the work done is a huge plus. From time to time, I have to get the hair out of 3 brushes but that's it. It's not perfect but vacuums twice for the same area. I also love the fact that it cleans under the bed!!

This made my life so much easier. Itbis awesome my only complaint is the noise...but overall is amazing

Works great on hardwood floors, and picks up all the fur that our 2 Shepard love to leave around the house.

I love my vacuum it has saved me so much time and relieved my stress. I am a mother of two young kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a farm. This vacuum has kept up with everything and I love that it will empty, charge, and go back to finish the job. I have had no issues so far and dont mind the emptying bin being loud it makes sure to suck everything out. I ordered this as a package with the braava jet m6 and I have been very happy with both.

Have only had the robot for a couple of weeks. It does take several passes to map your entire house and be able to name all the different rooms. Once that setup is complete along with a schedule the machine works really well. Im surprised at how meticulous it is about getting around each and every cranny. The vacuum quality is great for such a small unit. It will get hung on wires and shoe strings so you know... clear your floors of the obvious. So far we love it!

With 3 dogs this does really well keeping my house from being over run by Labrador hair.

I love this Roomba. I have tried different brands and they have not worked as well. Mostly I love this one because of the bin. It means I do not have to keep emptying the Roomba's bin to get it to complete a job. I also love that I can block of areas of my house like the kids playroom and thus it does not suck all their lego's up. With us all being at home so much I this has been a great investment. Only issues is that it is quite loud and if it runs at night it wakes me up.
