I recently got my wooden floors redone a dark coffee bean color..... unfortunately, with two dogs, the amount of fur I could suddenly notice everywhere drove me crazy! I run Rosie the Roomba every second day and she does an amazing job. I'm not entirely convinced that she is 100% effective on rugs (they still seem to hold pet hair after she's done) but for the bare floors she gets an A+. Just set and forget so it saves me a ton of time.

I have had it for several months. It gets stuck a lot. There are communication problems between the app and the vacuum, the disposable bags are too small and you need to replace them all the time. The robot is NOT as smart as you expect. It does not seem to remember where things are. The vacuum has a hard time navigating through several rooms in order to clean the room you specifically indicating that need some cleaning.

Not used yet is a Christmas gift will review after holiday

Love this thing. Easy to use. Self-emptying. Make sure you clean the sensors every once in awhile and put away stray cords.

I only used it for 5 hours and already had to have the motor head replaced. For an 800.00 vacuum I would expect it to last longer. Works really well cleaning the floors. It takes a while to map the house. Havent figured all that out just yet. Great for dog hair. With 4 dogs its helped greatly with us having to vacuum ourselves.

I thought the only thing I would’ve wanted was that it cleaned itself, and they made it! Floor stays clean with two messy dogs.

I love this roomba! So efficient, I have three animals (2 dogs and 1 cat) and this keeps my floors spotless.

This thing is simply awesome. It does a great job, and iRobot made the UI and setup stupid easy. Easily worth every penny.

Love the vacuum, not having to empty it, and being able to schedule in the app!

I had my doubts about a robotic vacuum but the Roomba shattered my doubts tremendous Time Saver. It took it a while to train itself and for me to understand it. Once I got the hang of it fantastic cleaning job it is slow but meticulous. The self docking station was worth the $200 extra not to have to worry about cleaning out the vacuum everyday. We have two golden retrievers a lot of hair vacuuming is required everyday and the Roomba handles it no problem.

I have enjoyed using my iRobot. I would recommend run it using just mapping first. It does map while cleaning; however, it just takes longer for you to get a map. I haven't programmed it to clean yet but since we are home all the time I just choose what rooms I want to clean at that time. If I happen to notice one place that is getting dirty I just use the app to tell it to clean that area. Wasn't sure about this but I have enjoyed having it.

Excellent purchase, that solved our problem with dog hair

This is by far the best appliance I ever bought. Changed our life and the look of the house. Can't believe I lived this long without vacuuming daily or every other day....and I am not doing it. Just make sure that small items are picked up before it starts -- including under furniture. Don't want it sucking up things that could tear it up. Most of the time it just pushes them around and spits them out but better safe than sorry.

Bought this as an upgrade to an older model 650. This one does a better job of cleaning and the brushes are easier to clean. The self emptying feature is awesome. The unit itself is pricey and the bags for the cleaning tower seem expensive at about $5/bag. The emptying feature is very loud, though pretty brief (sounds like a shop vac). Overall i recommend it.

Great robot vacuum! The app makes it very simple to define the rooms and adequately clean them.

The first two weeks was a lot of small items stuck in the sweeping wheels but after it was done mapping and we created rules for the cleaning days as cat fishing pole toys picked up and loose thin rugs up and opened doors blocked so as not to be shut locking the robot in a room, were very happy with a clean carpet and kitchen floor. It seems to learn when ever it does run out of power. The reason to purchase this model was the bag empty procedure.
