I have never owned a robot vacuum before, and now I don’t think I’ll ever go without one! I love this thing! Best thing of all is that it empties itself. Some weekly cleaning of the robot is required but it’s so simple. I have dog that sheds a lot, I mean A LOT, and this vacuum does a great job with the daily cleaning. Recommend if you have funds to spare, price is steep, but to me it’s worth it!

I started with the 8 series, moved to 980 and now I’m at the newest one. This is def the best one yet. We have 2 labs that shed like a mfer. Also 3 toddlers that like to create messes like it’s their job.. This handles the shedding like a boss and picks up the little nuisances created by the kids with ease. I would def recommend. If I had to purchase it again, I would without question.

My iRobot i7 is a God send. My apartment is all hardwood floors downstairs and carpeted on 2nd floor. I run it downstairs on one day then upstairs the next. I'll run it usually twice a week on each floor. It is great on both surfaces. Once it programmed the lay of the place it got right to work and didn't miss an inch. Love it.

I love this vacuum, it does a great job cleaning and the self emptying is Awesome.

So this is our 2nd Roomba, we upgraded to the mapping one. It still does a good job, but the time it takes to map is like 10 runs. So we are just finally really getting to use it regularly. I do like the fact that this one has the camera and the self cleaning dirt disposal!

Great product and suction is great. I can't imagine doing this without the bin. The robot did stop three times while cleaning without going back to the bin to recharge. Wasn't stuck or lost, just quit with low battery. That happened early on but haven't had the problem over the past 5 or 6 jobs.

Very protected in the box--lots of recycle. Easy to setup. The convenience of automatically emptying the robot into its charging stand is superb for those who have trouble emptying a robot on the floor. The bag in the charging stand ensures no dirt is spilled--excellent design. Got stuck under a rocking chair once, but otherwise it cleans well, partly because it repeats going over most areas.

This vacuum has met our expectations for the daily vacuuming of our hard wood floors. We have a pup that is a real shedder and it does great keeping it cleaned up. It took about four days to discover the whole house and now cleans everywhere.

Constantly has issues getting properly seated on the charger. So it won’t be charged, and it also won’t empty itself. What’s the point if it never works?!

Great product I’ve had 5 or 6. They do west out and begin to lose power quicker. At first they return to base after each run but over time, they die before they can get back to base. (Of course the die under the couch)!

Cleans well and the App has nice features and easy to use. The only issue is that it needs recharging after running for 1 1/2 hours. Recharging takes over an hour. Since it throughly cleans under and around everything, it takes about 5 1/2 hours with recharging to do our 1 floor 2600 square foot home. Empty base works well.

Vacuum works good on hard floors, not as good on carpet, especially long thread carpet. Did use a regular vacuum one month later on the carpet and saw it did not pickup all the dog hair. Good for maintenance between regular vacuuming. The Roomba seems to lose work connection and needed to be rebooted twice in a month.

Once I processed the learning curve, I'm completely and totally happy with the Roomba. Love the self-sufficient way it cleans, plus returns to the base to recharge, to empty the bin (all automatically) the smart mapping, I mean, all of it!! It's the first time I've bought an appliance of this type and it's totally worth the money and the time it took to save up for it.

Pros: - You get to download an app. - You get to name your Roomba whatever you would like (J'Zargo) - It is efficient and does what it is supposed to do, pick up dirt. - If it does get stuck it is easy to clear out the wheels. - The app lets you know when your Roomba is stuck on something, full, or if the battery is low. - On the app you can control and create a schedule. Cons: - Expensive. - When it is humming around it can be a little loud. - When it dumps into the disposal it can be about as loud as a leaf blower. - So far J'Zargo has gotten stuck on too much hair, napkins, small toys, cat toys, string, and the like. - The bin has a small white bag inside and that bag is very difficult to empty out when it does get full.

Very nice device. I would use the mapping feature first. It will constantly update the map as it goes along, but it will allow you to mark off different rooms, which will make it easier to direct the bot to a specific location for cleaning. I really like the feature that allows you to link to your Alexa device.

I have a Siberian Husky that will cover the floor in fur just hours after the house was vacuumed causing the need for vacuuming multiple times a week. The Roomba i7 is the perfect fit for households like mine where other vacs might fill up before completing the job. It’s learning abilities are amazing and we haven’t had to start up our push vac since setting the Roomba up weeks ago.

The Irobot rumba works great. My house has wood floors area rugs and carpet and it cleans them all with no issue i was skeptical because my house is so dirty with two dogs and lots of teenage boys running around. This machine vaccums everyday and helps keep the dirt and hair to a minimum. Now if i could teach this machine to dust and clean toilets.....

Replaced and old Roomba 510 that was on his last wheels. i7 is a great replacement and has less maintenance for the brushes than the old one. The app is good as well as the mapping, But slight changes when editing map in the app cause schedules and other robots to disappear from the app.

So far it has been a great help I have tile floors and 7 dogs , is very easy to set up once you download the app, it will map the house and you can decide which room you want to clean , the vacuum is a little loud so heads up , it has an spare bag in the vacuum but will need to buy some more .

I like the way you can send the vacuum to certain areas only.
