Many also appreciate its compact size and the generally positive experience with Bluetooth connectivity. However, some users mention occasional issues with volume levels and the occasional connection instability. A few also noted challenges related to the charging process.

    Terrible - Don't buy

Wasted money. Held charge for about 1 hr when new. That faded over several weeks to zero. Using while plugged into power isn't a good option because a horrible noise is introduced. Will not even pair now while plugged into power, so going into the trash. Junk quality.

Junk. Cheaply constructed. Cuts off all the bass.

The construction feels cheap. The push-button light is hardly visible in normal lighting, so it's hard to know if it is on/off or whether Bluetooth is engaged. Worst part is it cuts off all the low-end frequencies, enough that you cannot compensate even by turning up the bass on your car radio. The signal output is also low, so you have to turn the volume way up to compensate. Then if you forget to turn the volume back down before you switch to another source (like AM/FM) you are blasted.

    Worst buy ever

I got this because a blue shirt said it was awesome. Asked him all the basic questions. Battery life, sounds quality, connectivity. It blows. The sound quality is terrible. You will lose all the low end of your system. It cuts out every minute or so. Worst buy ever. May never shop at BB again. Can't even return it because I live no where near a store.

    Do not buy

Don't make the same mistake I did. Find a more reliable technology to play your music in older cars with only auxiliary cable connectivity. After working briefly during a roadtrip, the first BluJax ceased responding (yes it was fully charged). Customer service at Best Buy immediately let me exchange it unsurprised that it wasn't functioning properly, making a comment that customers using this are kind of like guinea pigs right now, because the technology is not working consistently. The second one worked for even less time before it went on the fritz. Because I took so long to bring it back, I lost my $40 altogether.

    Quit After Six Weeks

My BluJax worked perfectly for six weeks. Six weeks later the volume is so low that it is useless. The unit is fully charged and paired, but with my in-car volume on maximum I get unintelligible sound. I am dealing with the manufacturer per Best Buy's nearly useless 15 day return policy , but I have yet to receive any response. JUNK!!!

    Works, but...

This thing has one button and I'm tired of having to remember the Morse code necessary to make it perform its various functions. Also it randomly decides to brightly flash blue or sometimes red for the duration of a car trip regardless of its charge state which is especially annoying at night. Scrapping this for something else.

    POOR VOLUME

I connected my I Phone with a cable to play music in my Toyota and the sound was decent (loud). When I connected with the blue tooth adapter from BluJax the volume was low, even with the stereo and phone on max volume.

Serves it's purpose but sound quality is awful. No bass, very quiet unless volume is turned WAY up in the car (volume was up all the way on the phone also)

    I regret buying this

I have to tell my phone to forget the device and then pair it again EVERY SINGLE TIME I come back to it! It will be connected when I come back, but it won’t play my music through it. This is not better than just plugging in a cheap cord from my phone to the car aux input and I paid $10 more in store. I was going to return it but I didn’t realize Best Buy has only a 15 day return policy and I bought this right before two back to back trips. That’s a pretty lame return policy.

Worked great until it came up on the two month mark. The audio started to go out. Then the lights stopped working also. Waste of money.
