Great Sound Quality
||Posted .I bought this to use at work when I'm on the road and use it in my own car as well. Super easy to use! I almost always plug it in and charge it over night and it always works great for at solid 6+ hrs. 3 things to keep in mind, 1. I need to be extra careful and put in my pocket if I take it out of the car. Due to it's shape, I find it too easy to drop. (If it was sold with or made with a rubber anti-shock ring I'd be super impressed) 2. If I'm in and out running errands, I sometimes lose the bluetooth connection and am forced to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth connection on my iPhone 6 and power off and power on this device. Happens occasionally - not a lot, but sometimes. 3. I have an Alpine head unit w/ a 250W amp. When I used an aux line to connect my phone to the Alpine head unit my max volume setting would be "19" (max is 31 or 32) With this device I most often use a volume setting of 23-26 to get the equivalent of the "19" with the aux line. When I use it in my work vehicle ('15 Tahoe stock stereo) I turn the volume between 3/4 and max and sound quality is great. I have used it in a '13 Tahoe w/ stock stereo and it is VERY hard to hear anything.

THE QUIET VOLUME IS FIXABLE! READ ME!
||Posted .I have a new car with an audio jack for music, so I thought I'd get this as a nice way to connect. This is definitely a finicky device, but it is certainly a usable one with practice and patience. When I get in the car, I hit the button (the only button) on the device to make it wake and look for paired devices. This takes a moment, so I start up the car and buckle. That is usually enough time. I hit the button again, and my music begins playing. For some reason, if it's charging, it doesn't connect to my phone well. I just be patient, and usually hit the button every 7 seconds hoping it's ready to play. Dunno what to tell you. It takes maybe 5 times, but it will usually bear results. As for the popular problem with the volume suddenly being stuck as super soft, you need to forget the device from your phone (iphone users will go to bluetooth settings> the "i" in a circle next to "BluJax" > "Forget this device"). Re-pair it and you will be fine. Also, the volume you set the phone to be on directly affects audio quality. Too loud, and it's static-y.

Battery needs improvement.
||Posted .I purchased this Bluetooth Adapter as my vehicle does not have built in Bluetooth for playing audio through my phone. The adapter works decently well enough when it's charged but seems to require charging more often than not unfortunately. This is the main issue with the adapter, charging; since it seems to require a full charge (while not plugged into the vehicle) - this makes for an unnecessary inconvenience. I have a USB outlet next to the aux input into the car which I hoped would act as a charging station while playing audio; this is not the case - the device does not seem to charge enough to operate as expected. When the device is not charged (and it flashes red) - the audio is limited to a certain volume, not loud enough to drown out the road noise if traveling on the expressway. Because of this I will probably be considering alternative's in the near future. *Disclaimer - vehicle is 09 Hyundai Sonata & I have tried charging while playing by both USB and Cigarette outlet plug-in. Device works great when it's fully charged and easily finds the connection to my iphone once it was a recognized device. Probably requires a charge once a week is not twice depending on use. (from wall outlet) This could be different depending on your vehicle possibly?!

Great solution
||Posted .My car, I found after I bought it, is Bluetooth capable, but does not have it installed. Until I found this product, everything I’ve seen has been bulky and pricey. BluJax is small, lightweight, easy to use, and does not deteriorate sound quality. It’s a great solution if you have a basic need. There are some drawbacks which show the differences between this product and more elaborate/expensive products that fully integrate with your audio system. You cannot use this product for hands-free phone conversations; it is strictly to stream audio to your stereo from your mobile device. Also, the battery life leaves something to be desired. Mine dies about every other day. True you can leave it plugged in while using it. However, I’ve noted fed that doing so causes a loss of stability in the audio jack as it is not designed to hold that much weight, so I’ve stopped doing that and just bring my BluJax in at night and charge it overnight. Definitely a great solution to my problem tho!

Average While It Worked
||Posted .When I initially got this product it worked alright. I didn't like that you could only pair one device with it. I also had to get an adapter (female-to-female 3.5mm) in order to use this in my car; my mistake, though. However after two weeks of use, the thing started playing the music VERY quietly. Tested in multiple cars and on other audio systems and it was indeed the bluetooth adapter. The adapter's charge was not then issue as I tried it in different charge states. Also the adapter does not have independent volume control; the volume is determined by your audio output device and not this adapter. In the end I found another product online that I have been happier with.

Q: QuestionI would like a device that I can use to play my iPhone through my car stereo. Will this device work for this? Does my car need to have bluetooth?
Asked by Car.
- A:Answer It will work, but I would not recommend this product. Best Buy sells a different brand that doesn't look as cool, but it works significantly better. It is the Aluratek iStream universal Bluetooth audio receiver.

Q: QuestionVolume was fine for the first week but after I re charged the device the first time, volume has gone way down. Max volume on car stereo and phone can barely be heard through speakers. Faulty unit?
Asked by Mando.
- A:Answer I had the same problem. I turned the blujax off, disconnected the blujax from my phones bluetooth, and reconnected it. Sound levels returned to normal.

Q: QuestionI have an isimple interface installed currently, which gives me the ability to use an auxiliary cable. I now want to go hands free. Would this work?
Asked by Horace3.
- A:Answer It would work as long as you are using a 3.5mm cable right now. I would not recommend this product though. Get the Aluratek iStream universal Bluetooth audio receiver instead. The sound quality is better and it actually works the way it should.

Q: Questionhow do I get it to pair w/my bose home? I theatre trashed the packing
Asked by baker.
- A:Answer To pair the BluJax, start with the BluJax off (no flashing LED) then press and hold the button on the BluJax for 10 seconds (count to 10 slowly) and release the button. The LED on the BluJax should be flashing rapidly (indicating it is now discoverable) and will pair to any device that will accept a Bluetooth wireless keyboard.
